Tell my old ass about that Black Cherry Garlic It`s.....sounds like a stinker ....Does she purple up and have a killer taste ?.....You da man It`s.....I know I`ve said it before but you`re a DAMN inspiration to Croppers world wide and I mean that shit.......Been around a looooong time and been to many old head commercial ops on the left coast over the yrs and your consistency and perpetual rotations for constant product for the market is far more than just admirable.....

Merry Xmas folks and hey Star / FP......as It`s stated earlier , Forever and a day while I ran many rooms at many locations , the rule of thumb I was taight about finishin a crop was to "dwindle down" the nutrients over the last couple weeks or so till ppms were in the tapwater range of 100-200 , and then a slow dry and decent cure leaches out the rest once they`re chopped away from the rootmass , and ......

The flush - no flush controversy that`s been around all these yrs has a whole lotta bro science involved when the last couple weeks or so is when most every strain swells and builds that last jolt of vital plant energy to be all they can be by end of cycle , but again.....

I`ll never say a word to those that swear by flushin at the end except it starves the plants when you try to get rid of all the nutrients stored in the rootmass and they can`t swell anymore if they`re not bein fed, but that`s my 2 cents from all those yrs of doin this shit.........Once I learned howta strip leaves and get rid of all the Nitrogen stored in the large fans , the fall colors came out easier and dwindlin down ppms helped em keep eatin and swellin till choptime......aight....nuff outta me this day......it`s......keep strokin and.......

Peace.....DHF......

That black cherry garlic is a relentless clone and its got its gmo mom’s funk smell with more frost and color and finishing much quicker. Its a little temperamental, like mom, but we have her in one of her happiest runs right now. Real unique look in the jar.
I need to do better at removing leaves towards the end but its a fine line from what i have seen. If you take them early the flowers might be smaller, I usually just tuck them out of the flower’s way and focus on lollipopping and removing small sucker branches once the stretch is over. I will try to do a strip the last week or two and see, i like the suggestion of removing excess nitrogen that way.
Want to see an inspiration of consistency check out seatowngabriel on ig. 33 chops in this place in 7 years.
Merry Christmas everybody.

Go back through his pics until you find one of his yard, or the vid of them changing a room from hps to two level led in a week, or the cedar walled dry room, or that building.

You know guys......It`s easy to blow shit up and have all the bells , whistles and massive locations dialed to the tits when you`re in a legal state with a fuckin license to grow dope , and yeah that guy on IG is impressive , but when you can do what you do behind the scenes and hide from the thieves AND Leo while pumpin out the dank on a regular consistent basis with as many cycles perpetually on a yr in and yr out basis WITHOUT the luxury of a license and.......

In my book THAT`S where the rubber meets the road , and you It`s are the man........maybe you are in a legal place but that shit on IG takes 100`s of 1000`s if not more to just START , much less have a return on investment to reap the initial layout of cash , much less the overhead of employees and the biggest layout of power draw on a monthly basis....and Star......

If you EVER need any help learnin howta set up rotations for constant turnout and the wayta keep the ball rollin to absolutely keep an excellent grower from only gettin 'Chump change " outta all your hard work and sacrifice , feel free to hit my old ass in PM cuz I`m retired ,from croppin , bored and only doin a small headies setup with plenty time on my hands.....anyways.....

Hope the next yr is even better than this 1 bro , so Happy New Yrs and........

Peace.......DHF.......

I will tell this tale one day, the reality is unimaginable. Trying to hand trim 10 a week is the hardest part right now, i hope I have enough saved up to stay out of a cage and I hope my kids are never ashamed. I appreciate the advice DHF, sharing is caring. This first one is the black cherry garlic looking the way she should. Then some others on the brink. Divine banana, super boof and kushmints.

Time pump you guys for some info & I think you both reached different pinnacles in the industry at different times now I’m only running roughly 10,000 W total at the moment and I use a product canna boost I feel that it gives me a competitive edge in terms of frosting and flavor now how are your flavors ?do you use anything that’s cost-effective ? (given the size of your set up) I’m in coco

I used canna and always used boost in coco for a year or two before i went to new millineum nutrients for a few years. I liked them both and had great results from them. I have been using Athena for a while now in several spots and its just simple and clean with great results. To me no one has run more lights for more harvests than jungle boys. They shared on these forums as they hustled to where they are. I flower 400 plants at a time here and spend $1k a month on nutes. I am trying to foliar feed boost first just to see if i see any improvement. I go through 300 gals of solution a day so boost would cost $200 a day if i feed with it. I think environment and genetics are the main factors. 82 f with co2 floating between 8-1200 and humidity around 70 until flowers get thick with fans blowing down every isle is what matters. Last month of flower its 78f and 55-60 humidity. So spend money on whatever you need to hit those numbers in the spot. Internet connection to your irrigation and thermostats is a big advantage. I like to spray amino acids and kelp every week in late veg and through mid flower but who knows.
Oh and hanging bare 315cmhs in the aisle definitely makes a difference.

I have also tried earth juice, maxibloom/koolbloom, foliage pro, pure blend pro, megacrop, AN, aptus and a couple others before and after for a year each searching for what I liked. Never tried Mills but I have seen good stuff from it.

Well , there you go Star.......I can`t remember a better testimony as to the fact that when it all boils down to it , after EVERY different mix and additive It`s has tried , it`s STILL nothin but NPK with different macros and micros to pull all but the same numbers run after run just different nute mfgrs / hydro whore companies I`ve never had a fondness for but that`s just me never fallin for the hype......

For yrs and yrs folks raved over Advanced Nutrients and laughed their ass off at me runnin straight GH 3 part .....till they saw my results and then they changed their tunes.....Hell.....the only additive I ever used for well on 15 yrs till I changed over to coco was Botanicare Silicablast for overall plant health and stemwall strength cuz that`s what I was told to use by a krazy ass kanadian klown that grew 3 1/2 lb plants and he saud it stopped heavy ass colas and limbs from snappin so I followed suit and never had any issues.....go figure.....and.....

When I changed over to coco it was mandatory to supplement the medium with increased Cal / Mag to control it`s CEC / cation exchange capacity and pump out the hydro returns I was used to with my previous ebb and flow buckets as well as the Krusty buckets I started with growin dope inside back in the mid 90`s , and that`s it to this day......

These days I run Maxibloom , @ 5 gms per gal . 5 ml of Cal / Mag , and 5 ml per ga; of Silicablast for my headies setup with nobody to please but me, and it`s fine and cheap for my old ass with no signs of any deficiencies or lack of health every run I make so......

It`s and Star.......The most wattage I ever ran was 5 locations with 2-1800 watt flip rooms a month apart in age pumpin out 5 lbs per room with my ebb and flow buckets for 10800 watts , and when I swapped to coco and went to Heath Robinson`s vertical racks , my results turned into 6 lbs per room so I dropped 1 house and ended up with 4 locations with the same results + / - with 7200 watts till retirement......

All with GH 3 part and dialed to the tits.....anyways.....My 2 cents from all those yrs , so Good luck with your setup Star and always remember that it still just......NPK.....all in different containers with fancy labels......You da man It`s.....keep strokin and......

Peace......DHF.......
