That is badass, exciting. Building out the new spot, don’t put plants against the walls at all. 3 foot metal roof panels make cheap easy tables that clean easy. Put the lights as high as you can. Plan on auto irrigation, its cheap and easy now and a real advantage to be able to control with your phone.

I wish i had a big greenhouse. Here there is no one who would build one at a reasonable price, i would have to do it myself and my list is long. I have done a lot of wishing and shopping. What do you have in mind? I always thought about vegging in a greenhouse and growing some food. Where i live flowering in a greenhouse would be a big investment, around 50k, to control humidity and supplement light for something like 30x72 and thats me building it.. Automated light dep would be worth it to me but its more money. For that kind of money I would probably buildout another barn for indoor instead.
That being said i might try a few rows of these 16x48 hoops with big fans blowing in and just put plants in late like mid july for me and try for 1 pound plants each in 30 gal pots with 30-40 plants in each. Just to keep them from getting rained on late. Just got to remember its not how much you can grow its what you can sell. My project for the coming year is a swimming pool.

I can’t wait to see what you pull off. I watched in awe of some of those outdoor plots you shared. I see it as great time to be growing, less worry and more resources.

And those large outdoor unprotected plots are most definitely a thing of the past..Yes you are left with a ton of marijuana but no matter what it can’t compare to the indoor…I’m thinking the greenhouse grown will be good to very good , & the indoor will be very good to excellent…It’s all to be though because I never like to count my chickens before the eggs hatch… obviously this all depends on me and my growing abilities ,no matter what I always have a lot to learn & that’s the best part >>> keeping an open mind & not thinking I know it all , when I stopped thinking I “knew it all “ is when my grows started to get better ❤️‍🩹 go figure

I still have a lot to learn. I would wear disguises to check my spots, never would i ever type marijuana growing in a search box or carry my phone to a grow. In 2012 when Colorado went legal i moved indoors because i was tired of worrying about the sound of helicopters. Only in the last few years have I done outdoor again. There is something great about growing in the sunshine, in the wide open. You are going to enjoy it.

If you are going to squish buds, get it just dry, fresher the better, and get it broken down with scissors to get the stems out. I like 180 degrees and let it warm up for a minute or two under light pressure and then give it the real squish for another minute or two. Can’t wait to see what you end up with.
