i've seen their tracks along stream before where one had drank. we've found deer carcasses covered with leaves etc, and one was photographed in Carter County a couple of years ago. biologists in GSM national park say (anonymously) there are probably a dozen or more there... i'd love to see one.

I watched a show on Netflix the other day about cats, it was very interesting. One of the things I took away was that cats raised in a different culture act different according to the culture they were raised in.
The example they gave was between cats raised in the U.S. ---Japan

i've seen video where someone got a kitten and started it out swimming, taking a bath etc. one couple showed their dogs and cat playing in the water at the beach! must have raised it with Lab puppies or something...

I have no doubt that some animals become accustomed to certain habits from birth and it just seems natural to them. I have seen a show about cats and some cats definitely take to water, all on their own. There are wildcats that look domestic that might hunt for their food in a creek.
I was interested and read all cats have partially webbed paws and a couple have total webbed paws. It's great to see a cat in water.

; had a flood a few years back, they showed the main river overflowing and taking people's vehicles away. In one such submerged vehicle was a young man and his cat and they had to swim for their lives and Momo the cat led the way, it was incredible to see this cat swimming for it's life and leading the way to shore. It was on the news video footage, people loved Momo!

the will to survive is strong in this one! "water? fuck that, i CAN swim, follow me..." one of my cats showed up tonight. she seemed starved, and has a big scab on top of her head, but otherwise okay, thank goodness.
When you look at Momo's face you can see the determination, come on Dad what's slowing you down, can't you see we are in a pickle here.
I've had a couple of people show up here looking for their cats with lots of tears. I am a cat lover and very glad your cat showed up, she must have been on an adventure.

i read about some scientists with a new theory they claim proves the earth is not flat. they say if it was, cats would have shoved everything over the sides by now...

Cats... she was active at 6am but when i got up at 8am.. she wasn't anymore. mouth half open, saliva with little blood came out of her mouth.. like something is inside.. opened her mouth to see what is inside but couldn't see anything.. so i looked up the vet.. meanwhile cat is just sitting there, doing nothing except breathing with eyes and mouth half open.. called a taxi, put the cat in a box.. gladly it was sunday and no waiting line at the vet.. he opened her mouth and he directly knew what was going on because he had already the right tool in the hand.. he just said "rotten teeth" and just by touching one with the tool, it fell out on the table.. 2 seconds later he pulled out another one and said now it's okay.. the third one in the back isnt so bad yet.. touched it.. teeth moved.. and he pulled out the 3rd tooth too.. cat meowed for the first time.. brave cat.. 3 teeth just pulled out without anesthetics.. paid 130 bucks and kinda annoyed that the former owner didn't take care of her correctly... on our way home she already started to play with the pillow in the transportation box.. back at home she was happy again.. received some soft treats and our bond got stronger it seems.. good cat.. just have to think of a new name for her because i don't like her old one
