I put the messages because Zanddar is a liar so I showed the real exchange, there is nothing petty with truth. He is still lying by saying I tried to ban him, if I wanted to have done that I would have report his posts where he proposed seeds for sale on this forum instead of warning him like I did.
This man is a pathological liar, in 2010/11 the period he said he got the seeds you could buy a pack of JTR for 60$

The number is absolutely real and he's actually selling these on strainly for $250.
I seen them on there and remembered this thread. There's a difference between spreading them amongst the community and plain old greed. Not even Subcool himself sold his strains for that much.


Unfortunately I believe selling seeds on here is against the rules so I won't share any links in this thread although if someone is interested in JTR for a fair price you can PM me and I'll gladly show you where you can get them.

Yes you are absolutely right, I checked it out he is selling them for $250. If the poster is foolish enough to spend $300 on some seeds, then I guess he expects everyone to be that foolish and that it is ok to gouge people. He let himself be gouged by a greedy snake so he thinks that behavior is fine.

I supported this seed maker for making the seeds but I condemn hm for his greed. We all know you can make a few thousand seeds from a ten pack of seeds. If you would then turn around and sell all of those seeds for one dollar, that would be an incredible profit; a couple hundred invested in seed and a couple thousand from making new seeds. If you are using someone else’s work to make those seeds and give them away or sell them very cheaply, that’s fair. Hell if you would sell them for $50 for a ten or twelve pack most of us could swallow that.

I’ve made seeds from popular strains in the past and I’ve given away those seeds for free or trade them with the understanding that they should never be sold but were given for the grower’s own enjoyment.

Now if you want to work a strain for months yourself and you have crews of testers run them for you to make sure everything is kosher before you release them and you want to do all of the marketing to let people know about them, that would be a start. Then pay for booths at shows and meet the people and really put everything it takes to make a strain get popular, then you have the right to set a fair price for the market. Make a bunch of connections in the industry and collaborate to get your seeds to market, it’s all part of it and the is what Subcool did. You took all of that work, effort, stress, strain and investment Subcool made and decided you could make some easy money off of all of his efforts.

Now when you let someone else do all the heavy lifting and then you want to cash in big time by charging outrageous prices, then that is nothing but being a greedy little shit. Oh and Zanddar we’re not unhappy people, were just don’t like lazy, greedy shits who steal the work of other people and then try to gouge people in the community who loved Sub’s work. Shame on you.

Right, I did no work at all looking through the seeds to find what is good. It's the same as what I do with any other strain landrace, hybrid or whatever. I go through many seeds to find what I want for MYSELF. Get it?

It's like all the other people out there doing the same, making crosses and selling them.

You need to show what you are getting from your $30 seeds. Most of those $30 seed sellers don't even show pics and wonder why? I paid more than $50 for the seeds to find what I like.

FWIW I read about a guy working the legendary OT1’s line of haze and selling the seed he produced as well. He does at least mention the seed is sourced originally from the OT1 Haze line.

I personally think the unvarnished truth or an open and direct approach (even proper foot notes) aren’t enough for some.

Hi everyone and moving right along.

This is the one tester seed I pulled off the JTR I just seeded. This is only 8 weeks and fast. The mother goes 11 and many are faster. Super stretchy and have to top it more next time. Lemon and fruity smell. Super sticky and leaves hands covered in resin. Had 2 hoots from an earlier bud a week ago. Hits hard, fast with good duration and taste. Will be vegging it back to try a few more times. This is just a smaller bud that was easier to photo and it has larger main buds falling over in the back. Will be doing more from the seed I just made to breed with this.

Overall, I like this one more than the other 2 Rippers that this seed came from. This will be my keeper for now.
I want some of the longer flowering plants, as I like that energetic, racy sativa high.

This is my Space Daug at 8 weeks and still going strong. Skunky smell with large and longer buds.
Buds are falling all over. Will be crossing this with my JTR as well. Very nice and strong smoke. Loved by all.

Hello everyone.

Testing these F2 I made in 2022. Selected 5 black/red seeds and 5 tan/red seeds to try.
New year and new attitude. I don't care if you love me or not, but it's better if you do.
Still have a handful of the original F1's I made in 2010. I will be doing more of them.
Also, made numerous other generations and crosses over the years I will show later.
My favorite strain and I just call it Ripper, because it takes me where no other has.
I have lots to do and show you all. Doing what I love to do.
