JTR - Jack The Ripper

Were any of these fast? We had one, about 7 or 8 weeks. Average yield, but strength in it's own league. After a quick cure, it was more chocalate browns, than green.

Very strong. People struggled to use their phones after hardly smoking any. Just on one run in particular though.

Zanddar:

There's just something about those old spacequeen crosses. I've always been surprised that it didn't have a much bigger fan base.

So, do you top those? I've always topped my spacequeen (75%) and ended up with such a wad of branches and leaves at the bottom, that it needs to be hacked at with a scissors for fear of it going to goo. I'd like to try growing untopped, some day, and have more head room, just to see if that trait doesn't show. It was getting too inbred, so i did find some of subby's SQ crosses to cross back into my line, but did keep some of the old 75% seed.

Have you thought about crossing the JTR to some of those sativas?

Ca++: The spacequeens can be VERY fast, so it's definitely in the genetics. With the 75% SQ's, i was breeding for fast, would reveg the fastest mom from a batch and mate her back to sons, and add the resulting seed back into the main 75% seed bottle. They are very quick to preflower in 24-7 and just jump into flower under 12-12.

Yes, very strong, toke too much or for too long and it can cause the noids.

Thanks Nannymouse. It seems spacequeen was really showing in our pheno then. All JTR reports I have read, don't sound like ours. I'm fairly certain of what it was. It came from someone doing a lot of his gear at the time though, and the spacequeen was about. It's possible I got the wrong one.

Hi Nannymouse

I have more strains from Sub I have not done yet and some I have made F2's from. The Flav(sour grapefruit smell), Pandoras's Box (super skunky), Querkle, Space Dawg and I may have more. I would have to look. They are all from 2010 stock. I will have to drag them out of cold storage and do them soon.

The Space Dawg only 3 seeds germed. Got 2 nice females and one male. One female is super in every way. I still have the clone and F2 seed. Really killer plant. Will do more seeds from her at some point.

Have a few different pure landrace Thai, Chiang Mai, Koh Chang and Meao Thai cross, Lao Gold, Highland Lao and Mango Thai.

Pure Colombian landrace, Corinto, Colombian Black and Punto Rojo.

Brazil Amazon pure landrace sativa.

Guinea Bissau pure landrace from West Africa.

Acapulco Gold and Highland Oaxaca Gold.

The best plants will be crossed with my JTR.

I have already crossed it with this pure African Malawi 12 to 14 week pure sativa.
Have 5 seedlings coming up from that cross now. Killer plant with a 4 hour high tested near 30% thc.

Huh, the 75% spacequeen nearly always has pink pistils and red steaking on the main stem, if i'm remembering correctly.

The pics with the sparkles on the bottom of the bag, now that's pretty sexy!

JTR looks Primo.

How sensitive is it to soil pH ?

I have -1- Sweet Deep Grapefruit that is flowering OK in commercial soil - that has killed 4+ other plants.

I think the SDG tolerates acidic soil better.

I have found that some very worthwhile Subcool strains don't like acidic soil, e.g. one of the phenotypes of Apollo 11.

IN OTHER WORDS ... I am learning to use Lime. :)

Guys this guy is just here to promote his seeds business, he wants to sell the JTR repro 250$ for 12 reg seeds, that's insane. A guy out of nowhere try to capitalise on a dead man work, that's not very pretty.
