JTR - Jack The Ripper

Zanddar , the 50% spacequeen (two different spacequeen hybrids x'd) was a spacedawg x querkle, and that is what i used to add some new spacequeen blood to the 75% that was getting inbred tired. Also, just the querkle.

The spacedawg x querkle, was named quad dawg or something, but there's another totally different strain named that, and then the quad dawg(subs) just disappeared. If i recall, it had some rare cannabinoid in abundance. All that is from memory, so i could be wrong, it has happened before.

Also, i would add that the spacequeens can lean way 'indica' or way 'sativa'. The two spacequeens that survived a very very hot soil mix (out of fifty!) were very different. The female was indica-like, but not the male. and he was lemon fruits. Wish that i would have made some seed from just those two, instead of mating the female with blueberry, then back to the male...but this is enough for me. Not enough years left ahead to do everything, especially when taking a break from growing.

Hi Nannymouse

The Space Dawg I have is very strong fruity smelling. It's a very nice plant and smoke. I just took cuts and cut it back, because it's very vigorous and gets huge. I will be flowering it in about a month and will take pics. I made a few crosses with the male. Have not tried the F1 seed or crosses yet. Mine is more on the sativa side, with lots of dense fruity bud. It's something I will always keep, because it's that good and loved by all.

Yes I know what you mean by not enough time to do everything you want in one life. That's why we live many lives.
I had a near death accident a few years ago and almost lost mine. I had a serious head injury and it shut my life down for a few years. Now I'm back with a new outlook on life. I spent lots of $ on different strains I want to do in this life and will be showing them here for you all. I just want to document my grows, breeding projects and do what I love to do.

In some of his messages he said to contact him if you are interested in the seeds that he would give some. I started a convo with him where he said he's selling the 12 JTR seeds for 250$. When I replied it was way too overpriced for an unknown breeder he said he's making seeds for ACE, I don't know about that but all his thread are here to promote and sell his seeds at outrageous prices. Specially when he's just making a repro of dead man's work.

You sent me a bunch of stupid messages and I told you no already. You are on ignore and stop attacking me. I have nothing more to say to you. Don't go away mad and just go away.

But... are you seriously selling through PM, and at over $20 a bean, on 12? Because that really would be wrong, on a number of levels

This person kept asking me to sell seeds and I said no.

This is a post about JTR and if you have nothing to discuss about JTR?

Is it named Jack the Ripper because -

1 hit and you're ripped ?

Looks potent.

Zanddar, do you use CO2 supplementation for the plants ?

Either that or they have REALLY GOOD ventilation. Very healthy looking.

I'll show the convo to everybody so people can judge themselves.

Hi Cannabiscures78

The Jacks Cleaner cut and my JTR clone both yielded over a lb on a large tree. Now I've crossed them both. The only thing bad about the JC is it will push viable bananas in the very late stage, but I never need to take it that far. So any crosses I make with JC I watch for herm traits. JC produces huge black beans. It's very perfumy and has a bit of a tickle in the throat and not my favorite smoke, but some love it.

It the jack's cleaner that gives jtr it yield as space dude is more for resin and speed , I have done jsvks cleaner X exodus cheese X Santa Marta Columbian she was huge to bit took long time flowering, the sniper got some serious mango from space dude

Guys this guy is just here to promote his seeds business, he wants to sell the JTR repro 250$ for 12 reg seeds, that's insane. A guy out of nowhere try to capitalise on a dead man work, that's not very pretty.

That's insane, no one's gonna pay that. I can get a pack of JTR for $30 as well as Querkle for the same price. The person selling those repro packs wants to spread out Subcool's work so everyone has the chance to try those classics, hence why the packs are priced accordingly.

I gotta be honest the whole time I was reading this thread I was thinking , I hope he is going to share these with the community. I would gladly pay to get some of these seeds. Where else you gonna get them? I think $250 sounds high but we don’t even know if that is a number is real. Honestly the op seems sincere to me.
I sadly thought these were long gone and I’d never see them again. So I was delighted to see someone was keeping this strain alive.
As far as Subby goes I think that after all he went through and all of the things he was able to accomplish with this plant, he would be delighted that this many years after he passed, someone brought this back out. He loved the plant and he would be tickled to death that people were loving on it this many years later. He’d be very proud of that and I think he wanted his work to carry on and that was an important part of his legacy.
I know he’d be very happy. I miss him and I think many growers were turned off of his work by his behavior sometimes but they really missed out on some dank plants. This definitely is one of them.
Good luck brother and more power to you.

Every seed I made has been for myself or a vendor on IC Mag. If I offer something, it won't be on here. You should try talking to me where the seeds are offered and you may get a different response. So if someone tries to get me banned and starts offering me prices on here, I will tell you where to go. I paid more for these seeds in 2010 and spent years working them. I do not pay attention to the seed business and had no clue about the creator of this strain. This is my most loved plant of all the plants I ever grew. It is like giving away my kids and I am not a vendor. So rather than coming on here and attacking me, show us what you are getting from your seeds. I welcome all your pics and smoke results.

Have a nice day. :)

The number is absolutely real and he's actually selling these on strainly for $250.
I seen them on there and remembered this thread. There's a difference between spreading them amongst the community and plain old greed. Not even Subcool himself sold his strains for that much.

Unfortunately I believe selling seeds on here is against the rules so I won't share any links in this thread although if someone is interested in JTR for a fair price you can PM me and I'll gladly show you where you can get them.

I just paid over $300/10 seeds of a strain I can't get anywhere else. Oh well and it's only $.

So many unhappy people in this world.
Make sure to show some pics of what you get.
