Hello Fellows ,

I have a little problem with my Plants
They are cuts from Super silver sour diesel Haze (SSSDH)
Before that run i don`t had these kind of problems , they are in fresh Soil and i dont give fertilizers now .

I had a problem with the air because I grow in the basement.
I have changed and provide for sufficient air, since 10 days is climate technically everything back in order and the other strains also appear normal.
I think I've only given water to plant something missing ..

Sorry for my bad english

here are some photos of the babes :

naturaly wired, Broad mites can exhibit the same signs you show. especially that last photo!!!
that bright green growth towards the stalk, then gets darker green the further from the stalk. Could confuse as mg def as well

They also look almost like a revegging plant/cone as well. where the clones taken from a plant already into flower?

check the leafs with a magnify lense.

Could it be that you are over watering? From the the looks of the first picture, your girls look like they are doing fine. My understanding is that when you grow wilts like that, it's due to too much water, not allowing the roots to take up any CO2. I'm new, but this is my first thought.

gmanwho :

I was looking for some facts about broad mites after reading your post and yes it definetley could be , tomorrow i will directly use a microscope ..
And i think your 2nd suspicion could also be right, i was cutting them from a lightly pre-vegged Mother , that also come from my 24/0 light period , but i ´ve also changed it to 20/4

tommygh:
Yes this "complex" comes to the other things ..:whee:
I had problems with the air in my room , which i also solved and this air problems leads to the Over watering problems too ...

I will check them for Mites and hope that my new 20/4 light period help them to get fitter .
I ´ve ordered before 5 min. B.a.c. Plant vitality (the best! )
and i say Thank you for your help !:tiphat:

does this damage look familiar to anyone? russet mites? broad mites?

the two consistent symptoms are necrosis at the meristems and new/emerging leaves and necrosis in the middle of leaflets. some leaves are getting chlorotic and twisting too.

seems to be happening mostly where plants are subject to higher humidity and lower light.

a couple of the pics also show some round reddish dots that i think are some sort of mite or insect, but i don't think they are what's causing the damage.

any ideas?

Plants are in tent, in soil 15L pots, under the 200wCFL red and 250HPSdual lights, I use Advanced Nutrients Sensi bloom A+B, Carbload and B52., watered them when the soil is completelly dry (every second day), never have somethink simmilar before under the same conditions.. It looks to me like necrosis or overfert burn..Is it? What should i do?

Hey, total newbie here, first grow was going well until about a week and a half ago. Currently at the start of week 7, about 2+ weeks into proper flowering. The strain is royal queen seeds diesel automatic. Haven't tested soil or water PH or yet, have ordered stuff to do so though just to be sure that's not the issue. Medium is plant magic soil, using plant magic old timer organic nutes. Have been feeding weekly, initially think I gave her a little nute burn on the lower leaves, but reduced the dosage and that seems to have sorted that. Also just before this problem started I had some yellowing and dropping of the very bottom leaves, this was just as she went into flower and I read in a few places that this is fairly normal.

Anyway, now have the issues pictured here. It's only affecting about 4 or 5 of the fan leaves around the middle and lower top of the plant right now, but it does seem to be slowly worsening. The majority of the plant is looking healthy and buds are growing fine. Have just switched to the bloomfeed, wondering if this may have something to do with the problem? From looking at photos of other deficiencies I'm thinking this could be cal/mag possibly? Also all affected leaves have purpling/reddish stems. Any help is much appreciated!

Hey guys really interesting thread and helpful is there any way of telling on seedlings i have 3 in 3 gal pots under a 300w marshydro led panel and a 75 watt blue cfl temps are generally between 25 and 27 degrees c and soil is plant magic supreme at a ph of 6.8 and water with only quarter cal mag by plant magic at 0.5 ml to 1.5 litre ill add skme pictures its my first time under lights and im at a loss for what it may be was thinking nute burn or light/heat stress but now im just baffled at what it is im usually an outdoor grower so this has thrown me off a lot.. many thanks in advance if you are able to help the secret stoner

Looks like nute burn. Try plain water and hopefully they'll adjust.

I thought that originally tommy but i flushed the small 16oz pots they were in and ive now transplanted to 3 gal pots and not watered for a day to save from overwatering checked today ( roughly 5 days since raising lights and transplant) and they seem to have gained a small ammount of height but growth is very slow though amd new sets are still small it almost seems like theyve stopped growing at all for the past 6 days ive never had this problem outdoors on the same soil etc hence why i thought heat or light stress im now monitoring the heat very carefully for any fluctuations i was suspecting my led panel was raising the temp cuz the tent's pretty small even for only 3 ladies. Ill try flushing again with just water tommorow and see if i get a result. Thanks tommy

The 2nd flush should do it. I grow indoors, and my first grow, the seedlings were also somewhat stunted. In time they caught up and did fine until I gave them a poisonous anaerobic tea unbeknownst to me. Now, just started flowering my 2nd grow and I'm finding it was all the soil I was using, which was too acidic. I'm using Fox Farms Ocean Forest, and I learned that FFOF becomes more acidic over time. Must have picked up an older bag.

After this 2nd flush, try getting the PH into the 6.0 range. I'm thinking the 6.8 PH is a little high, and might be causing some lockout.

Good luck. At least they're still young so there's a lot you can do to fix it.

What's wrong?

What's wrong?

Is this calcium deficiency or some kinda of Nute deficiency ? Or possibly led burn ? I notice this on one plant fed them some house and garden soil a and b along with root excel. Then showed up on second plant

I had a similar problem with my first grow. It's most likely nute burn, i.e. the soil is too acidic. I would lay off the root enhancer at least a week, and try to raise your Ph a bit. What's the Ph on your runoff?

I learned from my first grow it's important to hit that middle ground with your Ph early on.

well that's the thing I didn't use any nutes until after it came up im thinking it that's to acidic or I was over watering

I did notice spending more time in garden I see another seedling with leaf tips curling slightly just slightly upwards not all the leaf tips just a few so am thinking its ph to high to now

also the one that u can see led in background looks more pale then other ones could this be light burn the led light im running is 300 watt led at least 4 feet away

the soil is ocean forest from foxfarm and I watered maybe once a day I think that was nono should remember from past u wait till soil is dry in middle (my last set up was hydro so I forgot some basic rules of soil)

I got to get new ph meter I shouldn't have started until I got it so pist at my self right now (lesson to any one just starting grow make) sure ur ph meter is working before u germinate)

not my first grow run around the block I did soil outside accouple years back and even had hydr system that was decent (my biggest issues in past have been how to properly dry that's another story tho think I have it down for this one)

to be honest I cant get new ph meter till Monday am I screwed or will these plants make it? what can I do to ensure they make it

and isn't acidic from low ph the tends not to happen around here it usually is to high why I use RO water

also sorry blwoig up this page loll but you say run off u can test the water run off from cups to get accurate ph mesure or is it better to use soil tester itself?
