I order them at black friday with 50% discount....are they worth money you ask me ?

I will tell you straight if you think that you will find something what will smell and taste as good Gelato or new OG's hybrids you will not....for shure.
If you are commercial grower dont buy it.....

Yilds on most phenos are very ,very low..... smells are not plesent (modern) SSH ammo core cut smells way more ''modern'' then any pheno of Jack....

For me Jack most phenos smells like piney,gas,dirty,haze,meaty some have lemon/diesel to it.....few were big yilders that smells bit like SK1 earthy,fruty...and few smell like pure Haze or Haze doms like my pheno NL5Haze....

Phenos that are super fast under 60 days....are very poor yilders.....but high is very strong....as I said high is like Diesel,Chem's and OG's......but bit more wild and uplifting...no afghan/skunk in the mix.....

So my conclusion on Jack you need to like it to grow it....and the main thing what you search in Jack is potency.......yild,smell and taste are way better in modern hybirds.(to most people I like old school tastes herbaly and spicy not sweet candy)

25 years of human work and progress in technology,breeding and science simply cannot be ignored.

Probably after trying many varieties, and planting ..... I would conclude that the overall absolute winner in yild,smell and taste and high.... of all varieties is OG kush(sfv) ..... sativa phenotypes that are about 70-75 days .... lemony not earthy kush.

When I smoke Jack high remembers me OG kush....but OG taste and smell much better(way more terps) with more opiate sedation(which I dont like in OG's.)

Jack was the best weed in 94.... today we live in 2022....

I will say that these new American strains are decents of Jack x afghan or afghan skunk.......so when you smoke good OG,Diesel or Chem....you have high of Jack and terps of afghan skunk.....and that terps from A/Sk give opiate feeling....to Jack high and thats all.

I didnt find out in Jack something that will stand out in competiton with today hybrids...... Maybe potency and quality of high is better but smell and taste are so old school which many today dont like.

I will post pictures of first 10 phenos B and D in few days with smoke reports.

We haven't seen 25 years of science and technology and development of the genetics. We've seen a lot of marketing bullshit with hundreds of strains of very similar genetics being given stupid names to sell to kids in what is now a very commercialised market. That's all.

You talk about these new strains as though they're better, combining the effects of the old school long flowering hazes with some better potency and yield, but you are very wrong.

I've just got back from amsterdam, and to get weed shipped over directly from Cali to the UK now is nothing new, and all I'm seeing is the saturation of the market with lots of hybrids of very similar profiles, a lot of which are not top quality.

I went to a few coffee shops in the dam to see if I could find some proper Silver haze...

The real silver haze tastes like Pepper and spices and rich incense and is just a beautiful smell and taste.

And, it seems, it's gone...
There were no Hazes which stood out. I tried a few silver hazes to see if anything was even close... Not a single one was..

and why would it be?

I was sat in the shop talking to an older fella about it. These places are there to make money... people who grow weed, what's their main intention? to provide you, the connoisseur, with the best herb possible? Priority number one is return, and pesticides and PGRs are an every day thing for most commercial growers, and to think they will grow a strain for 26 weeks so you can experience a soaring sativa high, is stupid. Especially in today's hyper competitive market.

So what you end up with is a race for the next on trend strain, even grow to grow it changes.. and all tailored to a certain demographic... names like Gelato/biscuits/cookies/ice cream/cake/strawberries.... See a pattern here?

All aimed at the same people the junk food industry has been knocking down for decades now. And it works. Easy.

And what you get for all this "work" - for those who know nothing about the origins of weed - is crosses of short flowering indicas which have always had that fruity terp profile long before they were named after a type of dessert.

And that's the problem with today's market; people are not being exposed to the truly different strains and their tastes and effects.

If you think OG kush is the most potent weed you will ever smoke, or the best experiencewait til the day you try your first landrace sativa. Problem is you might, in all your years smoking, never once come across it. What a shame.

The days of imported haze which was actual haze are gone, because there's no market for it, because the commercial growing trade is absolutely jam packed nowadays.

Even in non legal countries like the UK there's someone growing on nearly every block on every city estate, and that's not counting the Chinese/ Turks, Romanians and Albanians who are knee deep in major commercial grows which are driving the price down all the time.

That's what's happened over 20 years. If you call it development, up to you. I call it regression

Both of you are wrong. OG Kush is for sure a fantastic variety. But not because of development during the last 25 years - it was discovered as a bagseed in 1992.

I have personally found even when most people are exposed to true landrace and interesting sativas they don't really appreciate them anyway due to the high tolerance from heavy indicas and hybrids, to new smokers flavor and scent will always be a big part of the appeal, i would like to think, as they mature they will search out more interesting fair, which, they will likely only be able to access thru seed from underground enthusiasts

First of all there is not best strain in the world.....everybody have their preferences....I say that OG kush is overall winner cuz you have connoseur quality high,one of the best taste and smells and preaty good commercial value(if genetics are real and grow conditions)....while Jack have better high,taste,look and smell also commercial value is worst comapred to OG....so if I judge this by my parameters I will say that OG have higer mark...so its better....

Last that stands alone is NL5xhaze pheno of JH pictured on day 73....still it will have 7-10 days of life (harvest 80-84 days of flower) and from day 68 its on 8 on 16 off and this really speed up maturing of central cola while lower colas are brown haired.....

Conclusion on JH regs by Sensi......

Its strain with landrace/hemp smells and tastes but of finest quality....high is very uplifting,visual,plesent,bit psydelic,hazy brain my friend decribe it real antidepressant all in life is better when you smoke it without any havines when its over.

Smells while burn are old school quality weed from pine rosin,rosemary,sandalwood.....real old school.

All in all very good example in seed form of finest landraces you can smoke.....Top Sativa genetics for real Sativa lovers.

And there are no long flowering sativas readily available anymore these days, not at street or even in coffee shops in A'dam. That, to me, is a big step backwards and in no way is it a scientific evolution.

Hi,Man science have good and bad sides like everything in this world...
Science give us really good things,like that that seeds today are much more quality...easier to find pheno you want....we learn more about cannabinoides....even we can make strains like cbg which before was not possible.

I agree that all new strains are some kind of OG kush....and I dont like this also....but I think its more what people want....than to do with science....people want OG kush and market give OG in all different possibilities from lemon,gas to candy....
Its more about cannabis market and sales than with science....

Last and most hazy one is down at day 84 of flower....

It really look close to this.....and probably it will be my keeper....JH phenos I will describe in 3 biggest groups fruty phenos (that smell like mango,orangeish with woody/spicy tones....similar to Mr.nice hazes Ssh/mango...
Than real herbal phenos like dirty,piney,woody,spicy,peppery,green tea....
And Herbal lemony diesel candy....

This one is mix of all phenos by smell right now....and have that smell which you know will translate to very pungent churchy smell.

Fruty phenos have more church frankie smells.
Herbal phenos have more rosemary/pine aroma while burned....

This smells I describe of phenos are not real smells like SSH or SLH they have part of it,but generaly smells are sharp,landrace hemp like...
All phenos have UP high....while herbaly phenos are more psydelic/euphoric....
Herbal lemony are up and strong....like more UP version of sour diesel high..
Fruty phenos are dreamy,hazy,plesent high....

Cant wait to smoke this one.....all smells of all phenos are improving by the day....losing that woody,sharp hemp smells to more very complex herbaly or fruty spice depends of pheno.

I kill all other mothers and leave just this one....Its very hazy and in between fruty and herbal phenos of Jack some people even say that its like Mother of SSH,Amnesia it have that smell but more herbaly....smell while burning is real pungent and hazy....high is really euphoric and very strong.

Even Indica lovers like its high cuz its very strong....very,very strong Sativa high....

Tu sum up all....my last pheno of Jack I had was better to me than this Hazy pheno....it was more metalic,pepper....it was longfower herbal pheno....now I got longflower fruty/herbal pheno

Anyway this will be my plant for my reserva privada....cuz not many smokers like this kind of buds these days.

Anyway Jack Herer is strain for real old school heads that love pre Amnesia hazes...
Or strain that is very good for breeding.

Yild goes in extremes....its yild very poor or yild too much most plants I had yild from 18-25g dried....few big yilders were from 90-150g. From 1 plant.
This hazy pheno gived me 128g of 1 plant.

All phenos are extremly sticky...

Im very happy that I have Jack as summer smoke,cuz I really like it...for summer and hot days....

You are high as kite....but still able to function properly....on some phenos is realy heavy to have conversation with anyone exept those who smoked with you....really trippy herb.

Visine are must have cuz eyes are very red...
