I've Never Had A Job ...

I don't think anything is good or bad when it involves your own life as long as it doesn't negatively affect other people. If you're happy, that's all that matters.

With that said, I'm the complete opposite, always had a full time job and always been a workaholic. In a fairly new industry of 2 years with a killer job right now that pays great and affords me a ton of freedom to enjoy my hobbies (growing, cooking, etc)...I've reached the sweet spot and I'm not even 30 yet, so I'm very happy.

Growing for me is full time job, I made more money and had more free time back in my hustling days but the jail time risks were high so I invested into growing, which has me working twice the hours for less money. Shit I work more than most people with regular jobs....growing commercially is a straight grind. Managing work crews, investing in everything out of pocket , and then spending countless hours in the gardens and then having to go all over Ca to sell the final product. Anybody who says that ain't a real job can kiss my ass!

Sweet. But why would you be vague about your job like that, a new industry that pays well.. statements like that are confusing

he is just happy with that place in life . cant really describe that much better then that . pretty sure teh job is like a widget to him . widget time has less impact then soul time . growing will never be widget time which is why so many people fail at it and get frustrated by it .

My brother stated once that most income is predicated by stress and that the more you earn the more stressful the position tends to be.

Growing is not a job it is a business (as is running a farm), and those who decide one day to grow and start a business are entrepreneurs.

That said, having spent decades both growing and working with traditional businesses, I find the grower types as dynamic.

I think that many "grower" types are not "worker" types but owner/operator types who need a different business environment to be engaged in to remain stimulated.

It's a pot forum and I live in a state where it's still illegal in a small town dude, I'm not trying to get into a ton of detail. I've posted before that I'm in the real estate industry, generally speaking.

Wtf is widget time?

people posses an intuitive potential in which they can observe nature and by working within that framework achieve positive results

other potential is one in which we work in almost a mechanical nature, as directed, to achieve a result, keeping focus on maintaining instructional framework.

these potentials exist because both roles are necessary for our race to survive

some people are wired to conform some are wired to deviate and each side looks at the other and things they are nuts

kinda like the concepts of babylon and zion

they are not destinations but states of our being, ones we can choose

i dont have time for another family vs no family thread..... i should have never read think and grow rich........

basically you should get your clones from a grower that you have never seen have issues with mites instead of random people. mites are widgets .

well what's your definition of a job?

well I'm not going to get into this, but if you talked to socrates, he would bring you back to the point of.. you have a "job"

socrates: is not doing something for hours something that is done with a job? answer: yes
socrates: is not doing something and transacting money done with a job? answer: yes
socrates: is not in jobs people exchange one thing for another? answer: yes
socrates: is not what your doing these three things? answer: yes

then you have a job, call it what you like so you feel whatever way you like... socrates disagrees with you though
