I lived in the deep bush for 30+ years (much wilder than Tennessee). I'm talking about idiots who paid money to come to MY woods to hunt for the biggest bulls or bucks or cats or silver tip grizzly 'guaranteed'. They only got rounds in their general direction to improve their reading ability for the numerous keep out signs along our 3 miles of fence.
One asshole shot my white mule 'by accident' I removed one guy's expensive lifted 4x4 for shooting a 6 month old black bear which ran up the hill to die a slow death. (no tracking).
I've survived on only bush meat myself and have no issue with local hunters but those who pay to come from other areas deserve to be hunted. Ones like Eric are the worst. Just check out his and his brother's list of bought and paid kills.
want to shoot at trespassers? no argument from me. don't like out of state hunters? too bad. national forests belong to everyone. i'm not stupid enough to defend any drumphs.
big money trophy hunters jetting from continent to continent give all hunters a black eye. there are certain animals that would no longer exist if not for the big money some are willing to pay in order to hunt them however. i don't like it either, but that is the truth of the matter. there ARE no "guaranteed" hunts. some outfitters advertise "no kill, no pay", and that should be illegal, because that damn near will ALWAYS lead to a violation by the guide or hunter. if you shoot at enough people, someone will eventually return fire and kill you...

The only way the Africans are able to afford conservation of these animals is from these rich ass trophy hunters.
Basically without them It's nothing but the poor local Africans who can make like a 5 years salary from a single elephant with decent tusks. The ivory trade is much worse than rich ass trophy hunters. I definitely wouldn't be trying to kill elephants if I had the money, I'd rather try gazzel or water buffalo but I would definitely be hunting Africa if I had the money.
Really I'd like to hunt all over the US too, New England is kind of boring, to get anything better than a white tail deer you have to play a moose lottery, good luck with that. Lol

I skimmed through the last one, for one the guy who killed the Black Rhino is a fucking idiot! Lol, if he was so concerned about conservation he would have donated the $350k.
But regardless of what this guy does, that $350k is a lot of money in Africa and with that kind of money they are going to crack down hard on poachers. On the other hand if the population gets above endangered it's not going to be worth as much, not even to the Chinese.
Eh, we are probably fucking up either way, but at least with people paying $350k to kill a single animal it's in their best interest to stop poachers from doing it.

Russian President Vladimir Putin says that liberalism has “outlived its purpose” and that multiculturalism is “no longer tenable”.
In an interview with the Financial Times, Putin explained what had caused the rise of the “Trump phenomenon” in the United States as well as the success of right-wing populist parties throughout Europe.
“The ruling elites have broken away from the people,” he said, adding that the “so-called liberal idea has outlived its purpose” and some western leaders had acknowledged that “multiculturalism” is “no longer tenable”.
“[Liberals] cannot simply dictate anything to anyone just like they have been attempting to do over the recent decades,” said the Russian President, branding Angela Merkel’s decision to allow over a million migrants to enter Germany as part of the refugee wave a “cardinal mistake”.
“This liberal idea presupposes that nothing needs to be done. That migrants can kill, plunder and rape with impunity because their rights as migrants have to be protected,” said Putin.
He added: “Every crime must have its punishment. The liberal idea has become obsolete. It has come into conflict with the interests of the overwhelming majority of the population.”
While Putin’s comments have caused consternation amongst western liberal elites, they are not far removed from remarks made public yesterday by the Dalai Lama.
The spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhists told the BBC he did not want to see Europe become “Muslim” or “African,” asserting that most “refugees” should be returned home in order to “keep Europe for Europeans”.
