I can’t put Assange in the same bucket as journalists, investigative reporters...he’s a political animal who got frosted out of Australian politics when he staged an authoritarian hijacking of the party he was in (party name slips my old mind).
He’s a political dirty-trickster of unknown allegiance, not unlike OKeefe and Atwater, just different style; maybe different motives but so what? An information broker is not a journalist.

i know the gay frog shit is a meme but that's not even that crazy. he was specifically talking about chemicals from the linings of cans, and plastic water bottles leaching chemicals into streams and stuff where it would change the sex of fish and other water life and then he would go off about how its doing the same thing to people (with not much proof).... which i find intriguing and would genuinely like to know that myself.
alex was obviously being a bit flippant with the gay frog stuff but what he's saying was actually rooted in some reality. that's why companies don't use BPA (Bisphenol-A) much in our bottled and canned goods any more. BPA is a chemical/foreign source of estrogen that isn't found in our natural environment. They are called Xenoestrogens.

The study cited by Jones is far different then he claimed. The chemical studied was Atrazine. It changed the gender of one type of frog. African frog. Nothing mentioned about them being gay. It's not uncommon in nature for fish, frogs, and other species to change gender. I don't find anything he really said about this study to be accurate. Edit. I'm not a fan of the amount plastics and pesticides used throughout the US. Chemical runoff from lawns is ruining our lakes and streams.

That is his problem, he finds stuff that may have a portion of truth to it and then just jumps to paranoid conclusion after consclusion.
Which isn't that uncommon in people but people like him preach their delusional garbage as gospel (which in itself is delusional garbage itself IMO but that's another story) and people mistake his passionate stances on things as some kind of authority.
People that are paranoid as being perceived as weak for any reason have great trouble looking at themselves critically and that is Alex Jones.
My Mum was a Baptist - and when I was a kid she would take me to some of these 'fire and brimstone' type of sermons where the preacher and many others would all be shouting out and making crazy claims about all sorts of stuff - To me at the time, as a 5-6 year old kid it made me sad and angry and often confused - kinda like when I listen to Alex Jones.
