To be honest, I feel safer having cops in my neighborhood/block... how ironic is that?!?

My logic is that fewer random bad things are likely to happen in an area with cops, though I didn't set out looking for it. Right? If someone is staking out your block to rob & then sees the squad car, he's going to go down the street. Kids don't punk the neighborhood as well. Hell, the other neighbors seem on their better behavior too. Outside of the fact this all results from intimidation & fear, it has it's benefits. Best.

amen. im in total agreement. I like having them on my block just for safety deterrents.

good thing a cop lives next to you less worry about getting robbed, probably makes ur property value go up alittle., if i could id grow right next door to a cop, and be friends with him. long as ur cool with them they are cool with you. just dont meet ppl in the street, no one would think oh that guy living next to that cop is growing and selling weed. no one would think to do it. i would thouhg just dont smell like weed or let anyone see u carring in ballast boxes and ducting
