Very soft – almost crumbly. Nice ripe aroma. Neutral taste – just smoke without a distinct flavor. Definitely a Sativa strain with a muted cerebral high - but cloudy.

That's odd, Lebanee hash has nothing of a neutral taste and is clearly distinguishable by its flavours, red or yellow. Effect should make you feel like wrapped in a soft coton cocoon, all comfy. Some changes in the genetics grown up there?

Despite confinement and what not, situation here remains the same, wth plenty of different materials to sample around.

Super crumbly "polm", smooth smoke, good but a little expensive at 60e for 9gr.

Another type more pressed, strong & coughy one, smokes like buds, 50e for 9gr

Some nice "beldia", very clean, super melty but notmy favourite type. Goes full melt when heated, but hardens too quicklyand turns into tiny rocks, not practical for even joint mixes. Very good material though.

Only retail, 10e will get you 1,6-1,7 most of the time, can go close to 2g if you're lucky.

Very nice, mriko.

And the shoe, several posts above...

All of it. Had to get a paper towel for drooling on my keyboard... :)

Miserable easter but at least high quality supply

Miserable easter but at least high quality supply

All right then as I mentioned here I sorta finished this experiment now during easter as planned on that part at least, see link. Mission accomplished!

As good as I could during those strange times. So the left one I got 14 months ago and was aging since in the fridge. The other three pieces I got gifted off a private stash from a favourite longterm source closely before that pandemic particularly kicked off here in Europe(Note: please don't approach me on that topic for various reasons ; now it's press on regardless for all us people on this planet as safe as possible!).
Blessing in disguise anyone as I read around the internet some people seemingly fear a drought of the drug market but there is just enough laying around for about three months to half a year, at least in areas with an average turnover.
Though this is only personal experience to be fair as I haven't contacted any sources yet as we're luckily always stock up and my occassional consumption and stash considered I could stay with a possible drought for the rest of the year. Though I hope of course others don't have to suffer either.
Fingers crossed!

Regarding that aged one presented here I refer to the batch I posted some time back on here, you can compare here and there
Anyways, the left one(cut the same way as some time ago for obvious reasons) saved I'd say is now at the peak of its aging. Compared to December it still got a bit smoother. Also taste is a touch more delicately lemony now, too.
In general intense, in smell as well. Effects are pretty 'all over' and again 'cutter material' ; generally potent but after this aging also pretty much on the body
and even more longlasting. More of a sugary texture now though still crumbly, also turnt darker now obviously if you compare the pictures and links.
All in all as said before one of the best resin I ever encounterd at home ; best thing is I still have sealed ones waiting for December in the cooler.

The other ones are again foreign genetics. 'Skunky‘ one dimensional but clear not very pronounced taste and strong straight up-high with not much variation ; smooth on the lungs and still a high quality cutter though. If one is comparing both types of eggs here it should be noticeable(at least under my scope) the age one contains now more amber trichome heads and the other one quite the opposite, go figure.

All in all I can say that this aging was worth it. So again I talk about 'aging' as it is more or less guesswork and still I'm looking for proper knowledge when it comes to curing of hashish so again I'm particularly asking for this so if anyone can provide something it would be greatly appreciated. I had some general thoughts about this some time back here and I looked up the internet but only found stuff about curing grass.
Really eager to experiment again as I'm patient and up for new technique any time!

By the way forgot to mention something in my previous post: experiencied longterm source told me about some farms in Morocco already having switched to automatics from foreign genetics to have multiple harvests a year. While I know automatics improved in recent years much I'm still not a fan of such 'fast food 'and this is even worse than traditional moroccan landrace at one point being replaced by foreign genetics.
Makes me wanna throw up instantly thinking about automatics too deep but of course can relate to poor and probably uneducated farmers looking for a better living as well as gangs involved profit by doing so but still this is terrible.
A genuine product just needs time and this process has its own proper time one just can't speed up which is no esoteric bullshit just look at food, wine and many other things. Though this is unfortunately zeitgeist nowadays worldwide. Fast life, fast enjoyment? Fallacy, anyone?

@ToBeDetermined

Nice to see some imports from your part again. Recently browsed through some online menus of canadian dispensaries looking for traditional stuff as I told you before I was surprised when you mentioned and showed them to us here.
The qualities available are similar to the ones at dutch coffeeshops but(slightly)more expensive. Bizarre thing to me is that in fact it is similar to the officially tolerated thing in the Netherlands as the canadian and dutch goverment each taxes imported hashish ; in case of the dutch one by 100% no matter if grass or hashish.
Though Canada is a fully legal market compared to the lousy dutch one so they import as said before illegal processed and particularly unregulated(contaminants) gear to a legal market. You know if they have to test their wares for impurities or is it up to them?
I'm afraid the latter one! I mean I can hardly tolerate the dutch approach nowadays but take the risk though it should be all about customer protection especially on this topic as too many chisellers involved in this 'industry'.
I don't judge anyone in Canada buying nonetheless as I can imagine because of their blooming indoor market of the last decades old hash heads started back in the day haven't seen often imports as indoor stuff took over at some point(in Europe too pretty much the same to some degree)so they enjoy the possibilty I guess. Just saying.

@haze*ekiel420

Mine are all '10g'. As I told you before I only saw the one with '5g' a few years back the last time yet.
You described the high of your classic ones well by saying 'artist hash' though in my personal experience with high respectively even top grades it is often as you put it, very mellow and so clear to the point one sometimes asks one self if there is a high or not. Personally as I told you before I'm more after the racy thought provoking, dazing respectively trippy ones or however you wanna describe it('psychedelic'?) .
Still I mostly don't wanna 'function' nor am I a medical patient I want to get as high as possible and it is still a very special thing to me after all those decades ; my personal entheogen sorta n o t an every day commodity. Routines are still boring you know but each to their own.
Congratulations on your source importing directly from the Rif in that responsible way. You should consider yourself lucky. Great that source is buying constantly different genetics I claim I'd handle it very similar if on site.
That this person particularly takes care when swallowing eggs is worth a mint as well as it is my least prefered type of smuggling respectively appeareance as discussed before, too.
While I would appreciate such a constant and reliable source of them as well as giving an extra buck just
for the effort I couldn't stand that as a damn moralist for a long time because I think it is really desperated doing this and just not worth the health risk for what ever
amount of money ; met too many poor souls in my life. Even if it is just out of dedication,
just not worth it, especially on the regular.
Though we're all old enough right and this is only my opinion.
Bummer you haven't posted some pictures of them in the meantime yet. Enjoy!

@Night Crawler

While it is a pity you've been ripped off I know this bait and switch thing is for sure no 'spanish thing' ,'british thing' ,'italian thing' , 'dutch thing', 'french thing' or what ever nationality as this is just classic arseholism among human beings as this drug 'industry' is in my personal experience full of crooks. Shit happens to everyone. Move on.

@Jaded1

Indeed, if you ever find yourself in Amsterdam(or rest of the country at some places)there are still a few shops carrying that shoe thingie, if at different levels of quality ; tends to be no disappointment.

@KarmaG

Appreciated! Had this over the years mostly at dutch coffeeshops and rarely at home so would like to know about the texture. Is it more of the soft variant or the more or less rock hard one? Latter one I tend to prefer personally. Most interesting question to me is: only came across soles with traditional genetics yet but I could imagine similar to the eggs that they are now coming with foreign genetics as well – so have you seen any maybe?
In either case enjoy!

@Mriko

Enjoy your moroccan goodies as well! Cheers.

Missed these threads, my last bit was blonde and too light for my liking.
I mind when I started toking hash my step dad used to pass me the odd bit of black saying it was too heavy for him, I prefer the heavier stone you get from darker hashish.
In saying that quality it not as good imo, plenty of flavours but I find them lacking those essentials to give a broad spectrum effect.
Will post pics of a bit of variety soon!
peace

Me three.. There was a meditative quality about the high in the old school black hash I used to get in the 90s (mostly red and gold seal). The closest I’ve got to it was a Pakistani black a few years ago. Really don’t see much of it anymore.

Like you, I have only heard mentions of it. The original trekkors on the hippie trail were said to have wiped out most of the old aged Afghan stock in the ‘70s. Since then producers don’t take the same time & care. Frenchy Cannoli has talked about aging his hash & the benefits it brings in various videos.

I know in my bubble hash making attempts, I have found that aged material has a far, far better taste to my buds. I haven't aged the final product long enough to talk about the benefits.

experienced long term source told me about some farms in Morocco already having switched to automatics from foreign genetics to have multiple harvests a year. While I know automatics improved in recent years much I'm still not a fan of such 'fast food 'and this is even worse than traditional moroccan landrace at one point being replaced by foreign genetics.

Just like the disappearing landrace strains that many talk about, farmers will grow the fastest, most vigorous cash crop they can.

I don't judge anyone in Canada buying nonetheless as I can imagine because of their blooming indoor market of the last decades old hash heads started back in the day haven't seen often imports as indoor stuff took over at some point(in Europe too pretty much the same to some degree)so they enjoy the possibility I guess. Just saying.

In the legal market, I have only seen one real hash offering since legalization. And it was expensive & it sold out in minutes. Some kief pops up now & again from legal producers but it’s kief y’know . . .

In the black market, locally-made bubble & sift along with the cheap black slab named hash seems to dominate – Mercedes, Rolex etc. While some of the bubble is interesting to try, I find that it all fails in taste. At that level, I will make & smoke my own bubble with aged product.

I look for the rare imports but supply is intermittent & as the gov’t continues to clamp down on the black market, it will get rarer. Since hash is illegal in the source countries, it will not be allowed into Canada legally until that changes. With Canada’s legal suppliers producing truly crappy leaf, I can’t see them getting hash right anytime soon. Some of the smaller legal micro grows might solve this as the market matures but I am pretty pessimistic about hash overall.

Opiated hash is a myth IMO .

Opium needs to smolder to activate . Why do you think you never see people smoking opium joints . Why bother with the opium pipe and a candle when you could just skin it up . ???

I believe the old school hash got its effects from a THC / CBD / CBN blend in the resin .

copy from somewhere i don't remember. i did much research because i got weed that almost killed me in asia but lets do not talk about it.

"Opium Soaked Herb

An element was added to certain shipments of Thai herb in the 70’s: “early water.” A by-product of the heroin trade, early water was the leftover water used to create the heroin from the raw opium. It contained all of the constituents of opium except most of the heroin.

The curing Thai herb was soaked in the water and redried to absorb the opiate alkaloids. The result was a high that was sought out by some, but more than most bargained for. A good wash was an enjoyable thing, but some were over-laced, which caused a dilemma for those who would start spinning after a few hits on a joint."

I'll take the time this evening to read all these posts, until then here's a little more "confinement hash"

Covid is starting to hit the market, 10gr blocks are getting harder to get at fair price, 60e is still ok, but a 10gr "olivette" will cost you 80e, 100e is delivered at home.

Retail will get you 1,2-1,3g for 10e instead of the usual 1,6g to 2g.

Here's a much pleasant surprise though, under the shape of these small golden and RED nuggets which both just smell, taste and smoke like lebanese yellow and red hash :dance013:
Unfortunately already gone...

Nice outdoor hash wutwut! What strains u use? Good bounch of material i think?

that is last year goal and now i realized i used half of the stuff from my frozen.. so it's 50/50 indoor and outdoor. these auto strains are crosses with ak47 but pp strains are blue dream and 8 ball kush.. material is mostly small to middle lower buds and trim but i think those parts actually have mostly 'hash-type' effect if i'm sure. maybe little bit more ambers in them that thc changes to cbd? pure resin is always good in my opinion but depends of microns..

i'm planing to get enough sativa material but also indica too. landraces would be best choice but it is hard work to find right phenos. do you guys have any strain suggestions for making hash?
