Should it turn out that GH has undue influence, or that blind judging not be mandatory I will SHOUT as loud or louder than some others who feel passionate about it!

and should it turn out that it looks the same but becomes High Times Lite I will bitch and moan about it also......

BTW..... I think 1000 growers and small seed company people could be a managable amount BUT..... I think ghsc or not.... that may be wishful thinking..... unlike the person who thinks ICMag is now OG it is not and is still a shadow of OGs height (I am NOT speaking of how good/bad OG was I am speaking of the volume of people/information)

Niemand, you gotta understand that 99% of the people here dont want to have anything to do with Arjan or GHS, franco is a cool guy ok but these people just represent everything that people like me hate the most, but like I said in chat, dont hate the game hate the player believe me, many will stay home for this reason no matter what happens and how little they have to do with the cup and I just like to say that cup or no cup, Im there to meet my friends, I'd do it every year anyway no matter if theres no cup or even if this forum gets closed like OG I would still go there just for friends.

......What actually happened was that.........Aryan (in a phone conversation) suggested a couple of different venues for the 4/20 Cup......NOTHING is official as of yet.......we are looking into the possibility of staging it at a few different locations presently.........I would like to have 2 or 3 locations for the vendors and the evenings entertainments.....competition e.t.c......


.....we should have a firm game-plan within the next couple of weeks.......I will keep you in-formed as and when this will be decided......

*naturally the competition will be conducted and executed fairly......

Thats about the strength of it...

Be far better to focus on the ICMAG party and growers cup! nothing negative about it, the best Cup for breeders and growers cometh, the only fair and impartial Cup, so lets concentrate on making it the biggest and best yet!

We might not like his business practices, but bringing Arjan in and making this thing big can only be good "for the cause" in the end. They can't fight us if we all stand together. I mean if everyone in the world who smokes weed stood up for it rather than hide, no government would have the power to surpress us any longer. It'll take a long time for this to happen, stoners being paranoid and everything, and it being a huge risk for most people to be as open about as they want, but it will happen, one day anyway.

Yes the way this thread starts is a bit confusing, the reaction would have been different if it was OP or someone else that started the thread, I think a lot of people here just got frightened that we are attending a Arjan420 cup instead of IC420...if it's kept that way then I mok with it...and yeah, as much as I dislike GHS/Arjan and the way they act, they have done a lot of good things also, remember, any kind of publicity is good, even if it shows you in negative light for some people who are in the same thing it doesnt matter, we just need to get more people into what we are doing and I have no problem with Arjan using his money wisely instead of making something idiotic again..peace...

maybe some people think all the coffeeshops are bad because you grow your own and it taste 1000 better, still think about 420cup can be held in amsterdam, because in the early day some amsterdam people fight for the rights to make cafe's to smoke.

And incidently I DO know about peoples dislike for Arjan and his tactics (Like TeamGH putting down Shanti when people were saying they are STILL trading off of his genetics and HIS (Shanti's) genetics are what made Greenhouse.....

I have been happily spreading the TRUTH about Arjan and his methods loong before Rez's OG post how to win a cup without a seedcompany!
I was the one who reported that Arjan spoke about how keeping the original parents was no big thing because with backcrossing and selective breeding you can re-create them..... This after watching that at one point the only seeds they had to sell at the HTCC were White Widow and the next year or 2 ALL the old faves were back!

So, PLEASE understand there is NO LOVE LOST between The Truth Squad (My OG handle) and Arjan AND I absolutely understand.....

My point and it seems to have been addressed is that GN & DG are running this show and I will give them the benefit of the doubt! I will NOT do the same for Arjan because I have been watching his interaction with the High Times cup, including his temper tantrum when told he could only be in the Peoples Cup (The 1st year they had the pre-judging and the ONLY year it left out the others!)

So.... PLEASE consider me part of that 99% with distrust... When it comes to Arjan and GHCS and GHSC, I am from missouri..... SHOW ME! (don't snow me)

If shock value was the intended effect of how this thread was started then it was successful. I know the look on my face was a bit like :jawdrop: . I didn't know wether I should give the benefit of the doubt OR doubt of the benefit.
I guess we shall see come 4/20 time! Plus I have a good feeling since some of us are meeting up early like on the 17th then even if the cup goes bad we will still have had a great time meeting people and getting blazed. I already have been having anxiety looking forward to this and now just a bit more because of the new unknown factor. I shall keep a positive attitude towards this as I stated just because there will be more days to enjoy than just the cup event.

Right on. Exactly. Is Franco now the official 420 Spokesman? What effect did all you expect from this thread's presentation? Nothing will ever be the same. Og and ICmag are the same now, it's natural the event will grow and be more "commercial". Nothing wrong with it as long as Arjan and Franco keep their greedy claws away. I think its cool, as I am sure the Greenhouse will be entering this cup as they do most large cups, THIS cup is independent and well judged by members here, in a open and honest fashion..that's fair for both growers and breeders alike, and that can honestly declare it self to be so as the judging is all transparent and open..

As for the party folks, come on lets have it! as big and and as best as we can get it!!!

Half the people contributing valuable information here are from OG. The quality of pics and grows as well as info has increased for sure. I mean sheer numbers have grown immensely, of lurkers as well. I've seen it evolve from the Bog days until now, the Greenhouse days...
Do you think Franco and the gh crew aren't showing up in big numbers? Of course the partying will be great, but you can't argue IC Cup is the same...
It will blow AWAY the HTCC even more than previous years. I believe so...

It is called the IC Growers Cup isnt it?But no matter what,one of many reasons this cup stands out is,the blind judging.Not a bag that says where the weed was from that you have to go purchase from somewhere.We know that alot of what wins in the IC Cup will be grown and sent in by members here,thats where the best usually comes from. Dryed, Cured and flushed correctly from seeds that can be bought at that exact time and not in months down the road.. Peace and stay safe,DancesWithWeed.

ICMAG growers and breeders cup..

Not for Coffee Shops. But Seedcos and Breeders for sure..a chance as i understand it for growers, breeders to showcase their work alongside each other and have it judged fairly and honestly against the best..

Which im sure comes from a garden on here somewhere..no doubt!
