the u.s. has had a list in the past and anyone who believes that list went away is naive.

if you don't have any enemies who might try and implicate you, you might have been found out by some other means.. you could be legal but, they're still going to harass you.. and parking in front of your house being obvious and making police scanner noises is overt, not covert.

maybe they can't legally touch you but they can still bother you, and maybe they can convince you to do what they want (eg. quit).

people really do harass people. in the workplace, it's recognised, it's called mobbing. in communities, especially in modern communities with FUSION groups, it's called gang stalking. except, people don't talk about gang stalking. mobbing is cool but people aren't ready to admit that much of the west is similar to a STASI police state, so most people say gang stalking is paranoia and nothing more.

Thanks for all of your replies. I'm too far behind to quote all of them...I caught my neighbor today and turns out they weren't friends of theirs. So I'm hoping that, it was just cops chilling out or maybe a recon by some thieves. Hopefully a one time deal, if not, I'll have to adjust again. I'm not too worried about thieves, I'm pretty confident in my defense. I admit that I went a bit overboard with the lights this year but, it's our first house and first christmas here, we have kids, you know how it is.
I survived two combat tours to the shitbox. Not too concerned with half ass thugs with a handgun and little to no weapons or other training. At any rate, I feel that my defense could benefit a little from some counter-surveillance so maybe that will be my christmas present to myself.

Should anything else out of the ordinary happen, I will be sure to speak on it. Thanks for all helpful and comedic input.
