I suck at growing weed and need some help "getting it"

It's a 4x4 tent with a 600w conversion mh bulb dimmed to 50% with those 9 plants...

hey bro, nice to see they are growing again with the t5.

can't help thinking that maybe the hm bulb you are using is no good? or perhaps its the dimming?

pictures look funny when compared to t5; like when a HPS bulb is just starting...

cheers and best of luck!

Transplanting will increase growth. Just don't go from really small to huge. A little at a time causes the best growth. Helps the roots get comfortable.

They look like they stretched a lot. Do you have them under a full spectrum light?

When you transplant them, bury them up to the first node. That will help keep them stocky.
It's normal for the round leaves to yellow. So don't go crazy with the nutrients.

Also, just sit and look at your plants. Take the time to marvel at their beauty. Study their color and shape. Try to notice the little differences.

This was advice from my Horticulture professor.

By taking that time to be with them and notice the little subtleties of her, you pick on unconscious information about the plant. Over time this helps immensely. You will be able to look at your plant with a glance and know instinctively what she needs.

Great advice! :good:

Still just letting them dry out before I water...The roots are starting to show in the shot glasses now, but the frequency of watering has yet to to be significantly reduced.

Things are going ok and I dont see any reason to mess with anything since the boost in nutes.

It seems like 300 ppm was too low to start with since they yellowed so quickly.

Maybe if I started at 400 the cotyledons wouldn't have yellowed.

So it seems like I have been keeping them in the shot glasses too long. So now I'm transplanting into solos as soon as the shot glass dries out...

Then I put a little presoaked coco in the bottom of the solo, transplant, fill with dry coco and not water for a few more days...

Here's an update on a few of the seedlings...

Why do you top up the cup with dry Cocco, I would give a good water at transplant. Then by the time it's ready for another water there will be roots already to the bottom of the cup.

Anyways, just a thought. The other plants are looking good.

Peace GG
