I remember in the very early 70's, going downtown to Doublecalf but wanted to get drunk first so we stopped in at Nick's big six to get a bottle of Jimmy Beam. The 4 of us long hairs walked in and a real in town redneck hollered I can't tell if they're boys or girls. To which one of us shouted back, why don't you suck our dicks and find out. It took the better part of a quarter hour to finish our shots and beer to get our bottle out of there. That was back in the days when I was wilder than a buck deer. We were all just back from the Nam and didn't take shit from nobody.

I rember when we only had one foe..USSR
Simpler times..no stress..we had hopes for the World through flowers and Music.
I miss the soviets.

Having somebody to hate and compete with drove us to the moon, into the computer age, etc.

What is driving the people creating the technology of today? Downloads, views, and sales :(

No wonder we get a new iphone every year and yet we still haven't accomplished some of the very feasible feats envisioned during the cold war. Google the Orion interplanetary spaceship sometime.

John Wesley Hardin, he became a lawyer in jail, then fell off his wagon and broke his neck. Is that Karma or what.

I remember when they said the same things about The Gipper (Regan) before he was elected.
EDIT: turned out OK.

I remember caddying would net me, a 14-15 year old, big money> $20 a day... 2 bags, 2 times 18, plus $2-$5 tip.
