Remember the shag. My mother tried to give me one of those. With some kind of comb razor hybred. That she bought from an infomercial.

That was one dull razor.

Remember when There was no facebook.

You had to run into someone of you past randomly or go to a High school reunion wake wedding or visiting home randomly.
Now we think of someone and chances are you can find them and see everything about them they want to show us.:)

Well both thing struck me today.
I was on FB after I had a dream of the past and randomly came across a female of my past.So I checked it out breifly and went on with my day.
Then at noon I was in a empty parking lot and that same person drives right past me???
I have not seen or heard of them since I was in my early 20's and I would not have recognized her if I had not randomly came across her on FB.

Actually walking to school (the horror). Elementary was only a few blocks away, but Jr. High was mile and a half, uphill both ways, knee deep in snow with my shoes slung over my shoulder so they stayed nice and dry.

But now, everybody is either driven in Mom's SUV, or the little darlin's all need to be bussed if they live more than 3 blocks away. Then we have sky rocketing childhood obesity, diabetes, etc. etc.

Hmmm. Why could that be?

My brother told his son's about walking to school uphill both ways and they asked me, the little dumb asses if it was true. I told them I was a little smarter than him I walked the other way, downhill both ways.

Gas was cheap!

Gas was cheap!

I remember $0.25 a gallon, yeah I'll fill it up...

My motorcycle tank only held a gallon and a half  My 1964 Pontiac w/421 big block got 102 Octane for $0.35

My high school slut girlfriend loved that car
