Few people talk about this because nowadays it's politically incorrect to criticize other countries, but China is a nightmarish place and it's society is shockingly insensitive to human suffering and lacking any kind of empathy. If you listen to those who know, they blame this on the CCP, who push this hivemind culture where free thinking is looked down upon.

No of course but for one of the world biggest potencies it's really shocking. People make fun of north Korea and other crazy countries but China seems to be 10 times worse. How the world is still doing business with China and giving them this preferential treatment is crazy. Of course it is because they make most products we consume but still it's shocking. That's what happens in countries where human life ain't worth shit. A ditty from Rio '77. A kid stole a hotdog, he was obviously hungry. Cop told him to stop. The kid didn't. Shot him in the back. I didn't witness this one my buddy did. Bus runs over an individual and proceeds to is predetermined stop. Lets people off, lets people om and carries on his merry way. Minutes later (read minutes) an ambulance arrives to look after the injured person. The US is headed that way now!
Yesthere are many violent places everywhere. But what these channels expose is more the bad influence that a totalitarian government has over the population, changing even their moral values at their core. I was not talking so much about hardcore parts of China or gangs etc, more like the life of regular people like us in the more "civilised" parts of the country. Anyone in Brazil could tell you shooting a kid for a hot dog is wrong, but what's so disturbing about these china videos is they represent the general attitude and beliefs of the population. Not so much fucked up violent individuals but a twisted rotten society. For example if an old person falls down and you go help them get up, everyone around you would think "oh, what a fool". But on the other hand they would defend the honor of the party with their lives. I will make a post tomorrow or some other day and I will tag you, I think you'll find it interesting for sure.
