Only a person void of morals would claim electing war criminals as as their representatives is a moral action. It is not difficult to see why you would need to find such ways to cope as telling yourself that you are morally superior, cognitive dissonance on display.

Voting in support of war crimes is no civic duty. To equate voting for war criminals with civic duty is sick and sign of mental illness. Civic duty is to not enable genocide by voting for war criminals.
Here is a suggestion: find a party that is not filled with genocidal war criminals. If you cant find one then start your own or join a non-parliamentary social movement. It is not rocket science.
