yup , reminds me of some mexican indica a dude told me about . yo all , my friend just got back from the scamtimes cup .... trade show was all he said ... arjan said to my friend he was in it for the money .(hmmm reminds me of somebody in canada rhymes with narc) oh well , hopefully they learn the lesson they need to . i tried to tell him to wait for the icmag 420 cup or whatever . but too much media for me boy ... he said he had a great time in adam otherwise .... Hey cats how do you think it feels to see a guy who ratted you out win 2 cups with clones he stole before he called the cops !
This has been a tough one for me simply becouse it has sleezy elements that never stop shocking me .

the good part is he never changed the name and we just harvested the g13 haze I would have liked to have seen John sinclair do better for the dampkring , but I hear it did well when put in a bag labled mako haze .
I am growing weary of the organized profiteers in the bizz I struggle to fund my breeding projects and family life becouse I really put it all back into the plant .
I am off back to work in the early am BREEDING population's of plants that I will share with the world .
I think what motivates many in our scene is obvious !

Hey reef! the john i tried and seen at the dampkring growshop was topnotch. Everyone at both places, the coffeshop and the growshop were very nice. I honestly thought it or the mako would win. Oh well, i guess it was just wishfull thinking. by the way the plants growing at the growshop were amazing. i took some pics. hope you dont mind the post.

Lots of culture and beauty, foods great and I think the cost would be managable, face it, Mexico can be a cheap place to visit. Albeit as a US citizen I'm biased. sadly mr greenthumb and i were not destined to meet at this event. i was so looking forward to showing him my SDv3 and WW samples, but we were never in the same place at the same time. he wasn't around much this time. i did see his friend from O, but greenthumb wasn't around.

as for the whole indica sativa thing, it's just another sign of how things work at the htcc. i can't imagine anyone calling thai, indica lol. but you never know, maybe there was so little thai in it that the indica genes ended up dominating it, hehe? but then why the hell refer to it as thai? is there such a thing as a pure thai indica?

I think it's time to get the 420 cup to full blown status. That's my opion and i think it's time for new blood. HT or who ever runs it now. Has just got so money greedy and it's going out of control. Now, don't get me wrong. It's fun to smoke out with friends and see all the different breeder's and hitting all the shops, but i think the buds are getting judge right. I think money has gotten to involved.

I am going to ask a question out of ignorance.
Could it be that it is not practical to grow for dense bud structure in the Netherlands ?
Because of 400/600 watt instead of 1000?
Haze seems to be fluffy (no complaint).
Ken’s Grandaddy Purple , Kush , and others are dense.
Don’t know. Any help ?

the reason you don't see 'cali' strains in the netherlands is because they're not available in seed form and clones have trouble making the trip across the pond...

the cc is about seed co. strains...

The formula is easy..Ad sales are directly proportional to HT Cup weed quality..give enough they allow you to reclassify species as well..
It's who you know not what you know..I don't wanna disrespect any legit stand-up growers/breeders that did well..I'm a fan of Reef's strains..

The HT cup has gone the ways of most major events. He who has the most cash to grease the most palms will win. I rarely ever saw a strain that was not dutch grown win a HT cup. The only exception that comes to mind from recent years is Jordan of the Islands God Bud. Also, how does Soma win any Sativa cups if all of his strains listed on his site are 80(indica)/20(sativa)? I believe we American growers should establish our own cup and enter our strains for FAIR judging. Of course, the natural problem of legality does get in the way but that has not stopped many other cups, such as the Kush Cup and the Las Vegas Cup from occuring so maybe there will be hope one day of having a local American Cup. One can only hope.

i got some from the grey area.. prolly not the same one but its Matanuska Tundra... mhmm i gotta say it wasnt really good.. it tasted like weird tasteless outdoor...
