quote...."I have understanding for professional breeders not sharing their parent stock"..........i have to disagree, my friend.......whats a professional?.........shit, i'm a professional..........if they want to make $ selling HP13 derivatives, fine...........but simply because you profit from natures fruits does not give one license to hoard fantastic specimens.......or call them their own......thats no different than huge agri-business conglomerates (Monsanto) that are now taking out patents on plant-life forms............NOBODY owns them but the earth.............NOBODY.

ps.........just my opinion:)

NateF, agree... licencing, patenting and owning elite clones is a step too far... maybe I've should have said: "I have some understanding for breeders being reluctant to share their parent stock"... and most breeders do share... selectively...

The Real HP#13 has been grown on Maui for many years. As well, as the other islands. It's a very hard strain to get and is not handed out to just anyone. I personally have been after it since about late 2003 and still have not landed it. You will know the difference in the real deal over the fakes.

HP#13 is some very special smoke and anyone smoking it will know. Worth every penny spent on it. I've only had the chance to smoke it twice and WOW. Brother brought some back after surfing the north shore for the winter. Wish there was a seed or two in the OZ he brother back, but nothing.

Good luck everyone and thanks for sharing your HP#13 Haze. Looks like some wonderful smoke also. Love the color of it.
Take care,
BG

We had HP13 around here in '06. I was told by the curator of our now closed dispensary that HP13 was developed by a grower on the Big Island of Hawaii, and that it's Afghani x Thai. I believe this, as the clones that I had would hermi at the slightest stress, like Thai.

As for Jason King and the Cannabibles, I've purchased every one and enjoyed them all. But the rumor around Maui was that Jason was able to convince a top commercial grower, T** to photograph his product. Evidently, Jason freaked when he saw Mason jars full of bud stacked everywhere. T** didn't have all of the jars labeled, and he just started making up names for whatever was in them. IMO this is why volume 3 had all of the retractions (Errata to Cannabibles 1 and 2).
