With regards to purple buds, yeah id say thats more genetic, especially when all purple up and green leaves like that. Hid or Led? Flushed?

That's good news, 'cause LED's still have issues. I'll stick with HPS since I've neeeeever been a fan of purple cannabis. lol 
On the other hand the heat generally vaporize terps. Everyone grow with what they want but sounds a bit copey... Led purple are in the leaf not really the bud. Usually you can get inprovements on both buds and your grow system by adding some leds to you hps; best both worlds.That's good news, 'cause LED's still have issues. There are a few purple strains I have loved, Purple Zacatecas, Big Sur Holy Weed, SAGE. They still need the early flush and cool temps to encourage color out of them. I see gold, red, green and purple. Then again, I see things when I smoke it. Very fine quality weed. Cerebral, euphoric, and gently pyschedelic. Spiritual maybe. Not a lick of couch-lock.
Funny thing. I was just gifted some possible Oaxacan Gold seeds. I was looking around ICMAG for pictures. It turns out, that big SAGE bud I grew pictured above looks a lot like the pictures of Oaxacan I found. I don't think I ever heard rumors of that possible connection.
