That is your standard run-of-the-mill degree now-a-days, its almost like having a GED in the 70s. Its getting to the point where potential employers' are looking for more than just a BA, or a BA that has a specialized field of study important to their organization.

I'm in the same boat, 2nd year towards a bio major and haven't decided what I'm going to do yet. I may just keep going to school and eventually get a job as a professor... I always wanted to be a teacher when I was younger anyway.
