my MTF cut (which I dont have anymore
) Came from a "Hells Angel" who lives in Alaska, I worked on a fishing boat with him and we became friends before we ever smoked weed together ....The Hells Angels are the keepers of MTF, and almost only way to get it is to be friends w/ one.
My GIFT... even came w/ rules:
-I wasnt allowed to share it w/out permission and would never be allowed to sell cuts
-He did not want me to attempt making s1's (tho I did try)
-really didn't want me to make crosses (that I did)
but I hooked him up w/ beans from the cpl. crosses I did w/ her so he was cool with that as long as I didn't sell any beans.
-no grow partners, and didn't want me to have any sort of commercial op.

-didn't want me to post pics on the internet even (all security shit)
-I'm not a hippy, I was a dreadie at the time I got the MTF cut, and they questioned that...but never was a hippy (just free-thinking mtn. folk)....for some reason they did/do NOT want Hippies to have anything to do with MTF (they thought that hippies would exploit it I guess)
this is just an example of how "guarded" a strain can be...and maybe the exception and not the norm.
The "Hells Angels" in AK are really serious about this tho, and if I would have seriously "breached my contract" I would never have a chance to get a cut again, and prolly could expect worse than just a shunning. Hells Angels in AK control most the gun and drug activity.
since I lost my MTF mother weve tried to do the "clone in the mail" , but It hasnt worked from AK to lower48. (tried 3 times)
I'm cool w/ that for now cuz I know I'll be back in AK soon and I have MTF cuts waiting for me.
I just wanted to throw all that in....it's not really all about "give and take" even.
you meet people along the road of life, and sometimes your walking the same path...more often your not. I would have NEVER pegged my boy as a grower on first glance tho.

It really fascinates me how one can stumble upon the rare people in life who you can trust with the knowledge that you are both breaking laws that could jeopardize your freedom in a major way. As I've said, I've yet to meet such a person. I am hopeful that some day I will come across such an interesting character, as I have in the past... they just didn't grow cannabis! i was sent on my first "mission" in 1999 i had to take out one of europesmost elite drug dealers. Luckily my associates had stashed a gun under a toilet with duct tape at a place where i was to meeet this king pin under false hopes of buying large quantities. I was directed to assainate him before he even got to the appetisers. So i snuffed him...and then i was paid......in elites.....i felt guilty for having to resort to world wide murder spree's to gain them..but hey..this is the life of a pot star....

Regarding the clones in the mail, you really need to wait until around this time of year when the weather cools down, and throughout winter, for a better chance of survival.
However, the method it's sent in is also important, and maybe you've been off-base on this one?
The best way is to send unrooted cuts with the ends of the stems wrapped in tissue paper soaked with a weak nutrient solution, tied onto the stems with string or an elastic band, put in an air tight plastic bag, with a bit of air breathed in for some CO2 for them. It's better to have slightly longer stems too, so that when you get them, you cut off the dead ends of the stems and makes new clones at the nearest healthy node, and root them.
I'm actually surprised you've tried 3 times and failed, unless you didn't use the above method, or tried to send a long distance in the height of summer (I'm not sure of the geography of the locations you listed, being a Brit, lol).

well you know it should really be mentioned what an "elite" really is. nowadays as growers that buy ten seeds a pack when we get a nice female thats about it. it was good. What you have to do is breed. make an f2 or your own f1's and grow HUNDREDS of them. the second they aren't the best in any way kill them. and replace them. and kill 95% of them. don't take any shit for any reason. then the few females you get at the end will be of spectacular quality. Infinitely more so than if you grew ten seeds of someone elses f1.
you'd have an "elite" and people would be knocking your door down for your cut of even a common strain like afghani or g13 because it would knock theirs out of the water. Most people don't go after that and its easier in a med club scene to just get a cut somebody else already did that to.
But don't think you can't have "elite" cut quality of any strain you want on your own time if there wasn't another grower you'd ever meet.
On the "friend" note the only true physical life friends I have that grow I've known since I was a kid and they are the kinda people you wouldn't wanna rat out.
The only true way you can trust someone (with our laws down here anyway) is for both of you to have such a long running list of shit you never got caught with that they know ratting you out would open themselves up for an infinite possibilities of returned ratting.

But in all seriousness id love some elites..but who the **** cares...its like high school with that shit...i am perfectly happy ..my gallery makes me proud..and it ALL came from seed...mostly all seeed from gypsy nirvana himself!!! or bag seed!! bag seed is the key!!! sometimes you get a very good strain for free( i just cracked 8 seeds which cracked vigorously and are growing so of some awesome buds , a few different kinds of bag seed)...i cant wait to se what i get.

I'm sure you realize this, but the intentions of this thread were not to discuss the trading of cuts via postal or courier service. Simply the swapping of genetics amongst real life face-to-face friends. I do not advocate breaking the TOU of this site, nor do I advocate risking one's freedom by sending especially smelly cuttings of an illegal plant via the USPS or common carrier service. Do you guys have pictures of these elite bitches on your walls like super models? Grow some seed, find the gems in your own patch of gals, make some seeds from them, then you grow those out. They will be yours, your gems your treasures, your super models. Be your own legend chaps.
