yo reub,my 2cents transplant to a 1 gall container,same mix, instead of saturating the soil with water try light more frequent waterings,more when there growth is more vigorous,and try some foliar feeding,if they lived to long in those cups there probabably hungry. lowes sells a moisture tester for 6bucks and it works
