Looking good, HotC!

Did I hear you say you've put two 12cm fans one on top of the other? I don't suppose it's as effective as two side by side, but surely pulls more air than a single. I'm thinking I'll do just that in the new grow space. Any stats, suggestions or warnings?

edit: just checked back. you're using 8cm fans.

Thank you for the replies all :D

Duggy, yup 8cm fans on top of each other. Moves a lot of air, not as effective as 2 x 8cm fans side-by-side. But still killer nonetheless. PS I made sure my intake was a bit bigger to accommodate the increased airflow through the exhaust.

Stacked fans work better if they are going in opposite directions. Ie top fan runs clockwise, bottom fan runs counterclockwise.

wouldnt that slow them down, having to push through a counter spinning set of fan blades?

it was my understanding that stacking two 80cfm fans will still only push 80cfm...

Both fans will be spinning in the same direction. Should be quite a boost, I'd think.

Guys I'm researching into this atm, I thought static pressure was the measurement we're looking for, but apparently that only applies to fans sucking out an enclosed box (i.e no inlet).

There is definately a boost by having a dual outlet.

Peace

Sigh, plants are deteriorating FAST.

No idea what it is? Going to post in Cannabis Infirmy.

Been feeding with pH'ed water. Gave *very* weak nutes yesterday. Any advice? :chin:

Excuse the poor pics!

Now that I think of it, the pic of the MK looks like it is nute burn.

Hopefully a flush can cure this... Will check first though.

one of my PK is did the same thing, the first set of true leaves came through with tip burn, its not all yellow so im hoping a dry out and a few more unferted waterings will help in solving this. they will turn it around for ya
