@Podenco , congratulations my friend!

Wow! We originally come from an area of the uk famed for its Asian population and it's curry houses. We missed good curry so much and travelled near and far trying to find it.
5 years ago I had an Ayahuasca revelation and have been doing an underground take away to the Brits ever since 🙂. Making traditional Indian curry is something I'd done for the family and fiends for 35 yrs and knew that I could do better than any of the places I've ever eaten in in Spain.
I have a friend in the village who had a spice shop and he can get me most of what I use and the children bring the more obscure ingredients when they visit.
The children also bring us a large box of all the traditional Indian snacks, not just the onion bhajis and samosas, but the other 8 or 9 that are found in most traditional snack houses. The deal is, "I'll pick you up from the airport, but you must bring snacks" 🤣

Yeah, that wasn't my doing and it's not a title that I use😂, although it does have a certain ring to it, And I've been called far worse things😂

Sometimes Mrs DM meets people in town who don't know me and say "oh, so you're the curry king's wife", or "who is the curry king and how do we get some?" seems that I have developed a degree of notoriety for my curries.
Everyone that's eaten my curries have been impressed and agree that they've never been able to get better, even the one's who initially said "oh, but I make curry myself". I have a repertoire of about 20 different Hindu dishes that I do well and offer 5 different dishes plus rice and dessert every couple of weeks or so. We don't advertise but sell out every time.

In fact now that the cilantro is growing well again, it's time to put the menu out again. I'm thinking, matar paneer, sag Dahl, alo Gobi, Gujarati veg curry and one other, plus rice and shrikhand. What do you think?

I think that sounds great :D Although I don't know any of those dishes. I'm not very educated in Indian cuisine but I love what I've tasted. There's an indian restaurant in my town, the food's great but don't know how authentic the dishes are.

Mr. @Tangwena, excuse me for addressing you with this "off-topic" (and friend Del Monte, allow me the favor too, please), but I have a job offer in Inhassoro (MZBQ). I know the country's prohibitive laws on marijuana, but I also know that it is widely consumed; and I would like to know more about whether it is possible to get it there without having to expose yourself to very dangerous environments, or to serious police problems. I would have to spend more than a year there, and I have no intention of going if I have to spend all that time alone abroad working 10 hours a day for 6 days a week, without being able to smoke a joint in front of your dearest Indian Ocean, from time to time... I have to answer whether I accept or not in the next few days; I would appreciate any information you could give me on this matter. Thank you very much in advance....
Go for it brother if you use common sense you will have no problems.
My wife grew up in Beira in northern Mozambique you can get anything there quite easily.
If you do get caught a small bribe works magic.

Good Ganja, imported Hashish and a very easy supply of pills from the pharmacy without prescription.
A friend of mines Dad lost his cray boat from his mooring in Western Australia and it turned up washed ashore in Mozambique 9 months later!

He went over there to try and retrieve it but it was too corroded and not worth saving.
while he was there on some remote beach in the South they met the local mayor who had access to a container containing Hashish the local cops had busted on its way to South Africa ha ha.
He had a ball partying and drinking the whole month he was there.
My wife speaking Portuguese was doing liaison via the phone at the local post office for him.
Totally wild experience go for it my friend.
P.S Dont forget to send back any seeds you get from good ganja.

Where's my invitation?
If it's vegetarian Indian curry, I'm all in!!!
Can you throw in a channa masala while you're at it?!

I've just been looking back at my last photos; I didn't realise that it had been so long since I last updated.

I think we can say that the summer is now well over. This last week has been a real shock to the system. Overcast skies, high winds, heavy rain and snow on the peaks to the North of us.

Only yesterday there was a decent amount of snow up there but it's melting fast! The temperatures are certainly above average for this time of year.

We were only a few days without the sun, but it felt like a long time.

Those of you who regularly read my nonsense will recall that my 30 yr old jeep had died and that we were given a very nice BMW to use instead.
Well, although the owner had told us that she would give us the car in December, she announced 2 weeks ago that she'd changed her mind (!women 😂) and that she now wanted the car back. That was a bit of a shock and meant that we very quickly needed to find another car.

I guess I'm lucky having a best mate who just happens to be the best mechanic in the local town and as soon as I told him, he was straight on it, scouring the intent until he found a bargain.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, he found a me a low mileage, high specification bmw at a bargain price and last weekend we bought it. It's currently at his workshop having a few minor issues sorted. Hopefully this time tomorrow Mrs DM and myself will be off out and about.🙂.

Ok, let's have some plant pictures.

Smells of mango.

I've really no idea how long she's meant to go, but looking at her I'm thinking another month, so mid/late November.

Next up is the Green Haze 19 A5

Since my last update I've put a screen over her. The day before the wind and heavy rain came, I made a temporary shelter to protect her from the worst of the rain. She had many long branches and had I not done so, then I think that they'd have been broken/flattened with the extra weight in the high wind.
The following day, once the rain had stopped, I put up a screen and pulled all the tops down to the same height and pulled the lower branches up to meet them, giving a fairly even (and stable against the wind) canopy. I don't expect her to stretch much more.

Over the last few days she's started to smell more. I'm not very good at describing smells, but it reminds me of something sweet, but I don't know what it is. 🤔

Sugar?

Congrats on the bmw! Although you strike me more as an Aston Martin kind of guy :)
Plants are looking great mate, still a long ways to go haha

Thank you brother! I love cars, though don't have the money to indulge myself, but in an ideal world I'd have several! 😂

We have some wonderful mountain roads, if you like driving. We often see pre release squiggly black and white camouflaged cars being tested on our mountain roads.

Yeah, a long way to go for some of them, maybe even January for the Original Haze. Most people I know locally who grow have either harvested or are about to. As I walk the caminos, I'm not smelling much weed now.

The other Zenith, the first pheno was harvested 6 days ago, just before the rain started. I'd have liked to let her go another week, but I wasn't going to risk losing trichomes to heavy rain.

A friend harvested her #2 pheno two weeks before mine (mine are all late this year), and she gave me a little to try that had been dried over 5 days. It's very good weed indeed. Very clear and up, happy, talkative and plenty of energy. And long lasting. I wasn't exactly climbing the walls, but really did struggle to sit still😂, and I'm usually very good at that! (Just ask Mrs DM😂). The taste and smell, for such fast dried weed is something else! Once it's cured it'll be very special indeed. Dubi is certainly on to a winner with her. Hopefully he'll be putting her permanently into the catalogue. I wish I had seed left for next year🙁.
I'm looking forward to sampling mine in a few months time.

And being Sats, they don't smell anything like as much Indicas or hybrids do.
Sativas are smelling more like many green plants in nature, you know like weed(in english like we germans would say 'Unkraut')... that's my last experience with the Golden Tiger cross for example, there is only a tiny bit of typical sweet cannabis bubblegum smell and came very late in flower.

She already gave you the car!? 😦 What a b!tch! :ROFLMAO:  She maybe will be selling it for a higher price to someone else in the future...
