i was just checking out the GT pics very nice looking buds its going to be deadly cobbed ha ha.
Last years harvest of the GT was a little disappointing. It was my fault for being over zealous with the feed. This year I've held back and she's thanked me for it with a bumper harvest of some nicely formed buds.

I'll post up some pictures of the harvest once finished and will also post pictures of cobs.

Since the last update the weather has changed!
We got back from taking our Grandson to the airport last Friday to find that there had been a proper downpour and when we got up the next day, we found snow on the peaks to the North of us.

It looks lovely, snow on the mountain tops, oranges ripening on the tree, lovely, but this means that our average temperature's drop off quite a bit and we now having to wear long trousers and jumpers!, Today I have the wood burner going for the first time this year!

Not only did it rain, but for several days afterwards the wind really blow. The plants have come through pretty much unscathed. The rain was no issue at all, but the wind did a little damage to the Zamal x TTHaze. The damaged branches are hanging up and will be cobbed in the next few days.

Zamal x Tom Hill Haze (looking a bit battered by the wind)

Just over a week had passed since my last update.

The wind came back and blow like f'k for 3 days, before eventually settling down. Sadly both plants got a little battered and some trichs got damaged; such is life growing outdoors with these long flowering plants and living in mountain valley. I'm certainly not complaining!😊

The zamal x Tom Hill haze came down yesterday. No fresh pistils for several days and most trichs are cloudy.

Mrs DM and myself spent a pleasant afternoon in the sunshine giving it a trim.

She's now hanging to dry for a while before it's all gets cobbed. I'll probably make 2 or 3 in 2 days time, but the bulk will be left to dry a fair bit before is cobbed.

I'm very pleased with the amount of top quality bud she produced.

The carrot smell of a few weeks ago is gone; it's more cat piss hazy smell now, a little unpleasant on the nose. For me, that usually is a good sign.

I'd be lying if I said we hadn't tried it. One of the numerous advantages of cobbing is that I have a dehydrator and can dry buds for vaping in just 18 hrs.

It's strong! and a little trippy. In 6 months time it'll be amazing, of that I'm sure. It will make good strong trippy cobs.

The Original haze also looks about done. I'll give her until the weekend and then she's come down. I'll take some pictures when we do her.

Have a great evening folks! 😀

The Original Haze came down last Wednesday. The weather was set to turn nasty and I had little choice.
Both Mrs DM and myself were 3 days into a heavy cold/flu type illness that is sweeping our rural community at the moment and I took no photos; I'm sorry but they were the last thing on my mind. It was a case of get it out of the net and hang it up without any trimming at all and the get back in the warm by the fire.

Very scrawny and has lost some trichs due to the wind but the early vape test suggests that's it's a very special smoke.

Last of the girls is the OHaze as reproduced by star crash a while back. I had 4 to choose from and eventually went with #4

I love the languid 11 fingered leaves.

And here she is again after I've seriously assaulted her.

On the last shot you can easily see the wire hoops that I use to keep her close to the ground.
Oh man you bring back memories showing a picture like that, I know a gentleman unfortunately he's got really bad diabetes now and his health is declining but back in the late '80s he showed me a way to use the side of hay barns in a similar growing structure to avoid law enforcement and it worked perfectly for a good 10 to 15 years what a great method good stuff hombre
