Well that was a short siesta! I took a top up dose of cob a while back and it prevented me sleeping!

Stretching like mad and consequently is also getting supercroped every couple of days or so.
Last night she was given a dose of worm humus liquid with added K.

Because of brother Tangwena's recommendation, I'm very excited at the thought of cobbing her.

My daughter was quite shocked when I explained that when she visit's next there will be no conventional weed for her to smoke; Everything is getting cobbed this year!

I'm never going to be a photographer, that's for sure!

Some of you may be wondering "where's the OH male in the pot?".
Well, I'm sorry to say that he is no more. I really didn't take good care of him and he looked so unhealthy that he got put in with the compost.
So unless some pollen magically appears, then I wont be making seeds this year.
Thankfully I have sufficient of all the seeds to do them all again, except for the Z x THH.
Next year I intend to get myself properly set up to keep a small male or two going.
This year it was just cobbled together and the starting soil wasn't the best.
It didn't help that i was invalided for an extended time and also my car had issues for several months and we couldn't get out to the grow shop in big town, 20miles away.

Your layout is unique and very appealing to the eye. Love your mix of plantings. The weed looks damn good too. Can I ask what animal manure you're using?

Dr of Stupidity
Hi there @Lotto , Thank you for the compliments.

The manure is horse shit.
I've a good friend that keeps horses.
The horses only get fed the best organic food he can buy, so they're shit is nice and free from chemicals etc.

She herself grows almost entirely in shit.
She has a bank where for the last 5 years or more she's just been dumping the horse shit.
She mixes a small amount of potting compost into a hole in the shit and plants in that!
She doesn't feed them at all and they grow huge.

Saying that she grows modern Dutch style genetics and they like a lot of food.
This year I gave her an Original Haze repro and she's struggling with it.
The rotted shit pile is just too strong for it

The way the bud sites are starting to run along the branches is looking very good on the Mulanje cross and the ZT is so strong looking smell wise I swear I got a whiff off of my computer screen ha ha.
Cant wait to see how all those cobs your going to make look after curing its going to be some show.

@Tangwena I'm very pleased with how they're both developing.

The ZT is getting really big and is going to be a monster by the time she's done.

Let's hope for a long Autumn and a mild start to winter.

Good afternoon to you all!

It's almost 3 weeks since my last update! I didn't realise it'd been so long.

The weather is very pleasant these days, 28-32c in the day and dropping to around 15-18c at night.
We've had the occasional very light shower, but nothing to even wet the ground.

Since the Equinox, thing's seem to have picked up and I can happily say that everything is flowering, well that is except for the icmag Ohaze, but at least it's thinking about it.

The Zacateca Tribute is still stacking on weight and is fox tailing some, but has been got by the dreaded caterpillars!
It's quite a few weeks since I last dosed it with BT and it's far to close to the end to do it again now:(
The infestation doesn't appear too bad and I'm removing those I see.
I'm keeping my eye's out for rot and so far so good, just a few dried up buds.
I really would like these to go for at least another 10 days or so, but it may possibly be brought down this weekend, a, because of the caterpillar damage and b, possibility of a big storm. We'll see.

Unfortunately the photos don't really show the her true splendour; I need to take some shots at a different time of day, when the sun is not so intense.

She smells very strongly of sweet pine and a little menthol and is very sticky.

The sun has just gone behind the cloud (yes, we have some cloud today!), so I've just run out and taken some more pictures

Next up we have the Golden Tiger.

She seemed take for ever to get started.

This is a big bush/scrog and I've been really struggling to keep her down to a reasonable height.
Thankfully the stretch seems to be slowing down now.

Mulanje x Malawi/Ethiopian.

Flowering nicely now, but very lacking in Nitrogen.

I gave both her and the Zamal X Tom Hill Haze a sprinkle of bat guano underneath the mulch a few days ago but that won't address the immediate lack of Nitrogen, so this morning I mixed up some urine form last night and water and fed her with that.

The Bat Guano is more to feed her from now till the end and I shall also occasionally add some organic PK.

Wow, every single picture is jaw-dropping, @Hombre del mont, both the garden and its surroundings! :canabis: Also, this year's selection is an almost perfect step-ladder in terms of harvest times, too!
Three perfect sativa plants, then the THH x Zamal looks like it's from another planet. And the Ohaze - like from another galaxy! Absolutely beautiful.

Fingers crossed for the ZT on its home stretch!

Good evening to you all.

Well yesterday we had a fuck of a storm go over!

All the plants survived but the Zac T was a little top heavy this morning but still perfectly intact; She's very short and stocky and has a net supporting her to some extent.

Virtually all the pistils turned brown over night!

From Sunday we are forecast 5 days of heavy rain and in light of this and the fact that more worm damage is appearing daily we decided to chop!

Yes, she could have gone a little longer, but I'd sooner have her as she is, rather than risk 5 days of mountain storms.

Here she is half chopped.

And a couple of the tops.

20221007_165557.jpg
20221007_165602.jpg

She was really easy to harvest and took us no time at all (Both as high as kites on cob, of course!).

Good sized buds for a Sat and very sticky. I have a nice little 2g ball of scissor hash.

we gave all the buds a 3 bucket wash and now it's hanging dry.

I very pleasantly surprised at how much we cropped off of her.

There's a fair few cobs there!

I shall do a couple of different drying times.

I'm very excited!

Looks done from here even the last pics were good enough for me ha ha.
Nice buds too fat and sticky.
The smell you described had me salivating I love sweet pine always a winner in my book.

I had some 2019 Purple Honduras x Panama yesterday it just dissolved into powder in my mouth.
At first I didn't think I was High and then I remembered I was feeling down before I chewed it.
I was feeling so bloody happy not high just bloody happy with everything and everybody all day long.
Next time I'll double the dose and see if sparks fly ha ha.
