Hollow stems, good or bad???

Your only able to push low ppm because your ratios are off... That is what jikota and others have tried to say, yeah they grow fast when ya feed them a bunch of chemical N and K because that causes a rapid burst of weak wall'd cells that won't support healthy growth, then your dependant on systemic pest management to keep healthy looking but not healthy plants.

If your levels of N and even more so K are on point, you can boost up your Ca and then build healthy cells.... If you build up Ca to high enough levels then the Ca can hold higher levels of other nutrients with out signs of burn....

Anyways I am trying it now with very great success.... Just a hint of hallow stems at stretch so going to try bumping a bit more boron... But between alphalpha ,fish bone meal and top dresses and slurries of gypsum have been holding the levels high and have way better flower set than when I tried to juggle a bunch of bottles...

Thanks again jikota, foothill and others for dropping the real science!

The reality is the response is next level.... GH ... Pffft..I'm done with that over priced garbage chems

Yea..
But what DJ Short is talking about hollow stems and THC productions is still a different topic than nutrient deficiency, imo, thou you guys maybe be right about the stems filling up with balanced nutrients.
..but there is nothing or no one to fix that deficiency in nature, when cannabis is growing wild without human assistance.

So, is the supposed higher THC production using so much specific nutrients that the stems grow hollow when cannabis grows wild. So can this (hollow stem) be used for selection method to look for strong plants.
:)
