I remember one called Kong. Was something like $20/seed.
There's a shyster and his fools born every minute.
I heard you could pull an lb off a plant in a Styrofoam cup, with Kong beans.
I don't know what's the real genetic make-up of the Lemon Thai but it must be some hybrid of indica and sativa as Bodhi has 2 different keepers LT, one sativa and one indica. The Prayer Tower I've made were done with the indica LT female but the high I got from my plants was very clear and upbeat closer to a sativa high than an indica stone. It's clear the Lemon Thai is not pure Thai genetics but I have absolutely no idea what was used to create the original Lemon Thai from Dutch Flowers. The flowering time is around 10 weeks so it must have been something with a short flowering period.Thanks for the mention.. i'm also interested in more info about Dutch Flowers from back in the day.
I think that a few years after they stopped trading that someone showed up on the forums with some DF original packs which were for sale for $$ and some guys took a punt on and made more. I think those seeds where where Bodhi got hold of some a decade or so ago and did his little release.
@Travis Kelcee is that what you were referring to? - or are you talking about the Dutch Flowers guys selling their own packs?
Any info about DF and/or their Lemon Thai would be useful as there is not much out there that i can find... i had never really come across them until i discovered the clear, eyes-wide-open high of the LT which i wanted to preserve for myself and others as best i could. (it's probably not actually thai, supposedly Hawaiian but finishes fast)

I've had some plant looking like this from freebees of crap seedbanks and homemade seeds, the high price of seeds does not translate to bud quality.
Wow seedfinder has updated the site, it looks way better than before, easier to read the infos about the strains.
I'd really like to know who was behind Dutch Flowers back then and what became all their strains, they had a clear preference for sativa dom hybrids. Their cross of GWS x WW and Hindu Kush special might be their most indica hybrids.
Did the breeder went to work for a big seedbank or just changed of business and left the cannabis industry?

There is only a couple people I trust for seeds. You can get them here. Be informed.
Being in the legal cannabis business for over 15 years, they are one of a very few that have access to the best genetics in the world, and can authentically offer it. Plus seeds preserved from 60's and early 70's archive before the drug war impact on their genetic health from a master breeder growing marijuana for many decades. Breeding is done on large scale to pick the prime examples for breeding. The more you know, the more you uncover, you start seeing the bigger picture. They may not be the only, but they are the only I will trust.

I've spent so much time on my work, years... But I'm not looking for profit, I can fully understand selling seeds for over 20usd a seed. Some people don't put the work in and still want that price, but its kinda easy to tell after awhile, a good example is Lucky Dog Seed Co, hes spent quite awhile fucking around. I mostly give away my best seeds. But, people have families to feed.
I love one strain I've gotten from zomia, the pulag feral. I can not recommend a better feral landrace that is not a usda educational use strain.
I was wondering about that bank. Looked at them couple of days ago.
Am looking for Thais. Here's a really fascinating site that a member I trust says is the real deal. Is based out of Bangkok. Thailand is going illegal on cannabis soon FWIW. Hit the SHOP button. They dissect areas for sale like I dissect a fine home grilled prime NY strip.

Nah, everyone thats a little guy starts out somewhere. I look back on some of my own endeavors in life and cringe. Others may like it. For me it's just a little fun on the side to have a little extra to chew on while I wait.

Kong? "Rare", you can't be serious. "Rare" doesn't mean quality as I've found out over decades of growing. I'd rather have some pros like Dubi/Ace and others work it than to take my chances on whether or not it's quality. Good example is the Positronics O. Haze (Sam the Skunkman collection) is meh, not worth my time regarding potency or quality of high and I've grown out at least 9 O. Haze seeds indoors and out. Same with Dalat Vietnamese, both indoor and out. High just isn't there and it takes FOREVER to finish.
I've got literally 100's of mutts and old stuff like 90's Mexican seeds, O. Haze, Dalat Vietamese, etc. crosses like O. Haze X Sensi Skunk or C99 but there is nothing rare to me. Closest rare aka different I can come to is what I've been ordering from Real Seeds, Ace via Mandala (like my recent Beldia X Lebanese cross). My recent order which included a $18.XX cost for stealth shipping, 12 days, comes out to $4.98/seed.
I've been a member of many cannabis forums (most defunct) for over 20 years and there's one theme that runs thru them all, especially for noobs - if the supplements, rocket fuels and marketed seeds don't cost a lot and come with confusing obtuse directions/claims, it can't be any good.
