yup next on my list is to make a "thunder dome" for breeding's and such.
But thats in a while (month or two) got ton of stock to get though,(mine, HBG,SG... want to give them quality attention) was debating on what males to keep if any..... Dont get me wrong i luv me some regs... but when I know what to expect from a strain then fems would be ideal, saving time, space, and money.

This is interesting as well, how great would it be to continue to flower during high summer heat, with a plant that shows little to no ill effects........where would you start looking? land races? something that has heritage in high sun, high heat environments. dessert variety's? maybe more tropical with the humid days of summer.......

Do you find that all take it strive or do some varieties take to it better than others?
Last summer I vegged all summer long and yes some days crept into the 90's.(even with my split AC)... my hawaiian didnt like it much.... stalled almost.. were in the same situation My Khalisi's thrived... but this was in veg. as I take proper measures to not flower in doors during summer with high temps and high RH.....plus the power bill for the sun is reasonable
Ya know hick, I don't know. Tropical equatorial regions would be a good starting point.
I think in this case I would have to look at stabilizing something landrace-y - choosing the plants that actually finish indoors. Of course, that would have to be the major problem with growing landraces indoors too.
SeafOur, do you do anything else in summer? Like 12/12 straight from clone to keep the plants shorter - out of the highest heat zones of the room?

I'm sure someone here or there gets less than ideally happy, but I've not really stunted out or anything like that... and I hadn't done anything different.. aside from making sure there's an excess of air movement... and more water... they get thirstier faster when its hot.

something to add is that the Butterscotch Hawaiian that I referred to was a clone I got....seemed really temperamental when grow indoors, threw it out side an bam! off it went..... now where it gets interesting is over the summer a bud got it and long story short it got preggo (nl/skunk male) well started some, handed over to same bud, his cab was just getting together while experiencing scorching temps with rh up and down over watered under watered... dropped most all the others in his care... but there they were green and healthy as can be.... while everything else was yellowing and wilting....
Further testing is warranted.
If anybody out there thats following along or just passing by has any info. on the strain Butterscotch Hawaiian please share all I can find is its "landracey" clone only...... indica dom short stocky structure..

I would guess the landrace part of it caused it to herm as long flowering times and male flowers on female plants is common.

so I got some seedlings about to sex, well in the spirit of chuck'n I am left with some questions one being " what males do I keep/consider to grow out and collect pollen.......
The choices are : White Lotus, Boggle gum, Sour Bubble BX3/4, Blue Satellite, Killer Queen Redux, LUI X G13 so far ...
so what do you all think, I have an idea but am I over looking some
( I dont have specific plan on the use...yet.. more or less for the vault)
