I hate to say it, esp. since a majority of my 1st purchases was through them, but Bay/Bou are getting left behind in the distribution business. Just about every major seed vendor takes credit cards. Those that accept cash, don't get it stolen by the mail carriers.
Take Bodhi for example... Hes nearly constant in releasing packs and new crosses, but you wont find them at Bay/Bou. Seems to me, a lot of people aren't listing 'here' while they are listing elsewhere.

If youre looking for Bodhi beans check out seedvaultofca on IG.

It looks worse in pic lol but mine and the others

Yeah I been noticing the same, I am in the habit of taking from the bottom/sides, their small but they start bushier. I dont top when I dont need to so I rarely get those large cuts... which some find more vigorous/stronger... a happy medium is what I will strive for in the future, bigger cuts than i take now..

I always take cuts when I top things... I only clone tops at this point... I generally get very strong clones and ain't lost a single one I can recall in quite some time...
Last run I made about 12 crosses with my Sour Bubble male... This upcoming run, I'm gonna hit my GG4 and make a bunch more Glue Bubble seed...
I got a rather early rising Grape Plague... I need a male that is full on grape to hit up my RD Grape Ape... she's definitely a dank ass smoke, but not too strong in flavor... kinda a light grape candy.. I'm hopin the Grape Plague comes up as advertised...

yeah like I said its a habit to take from the bottoms and not top.... but I can say my strike rate is great rarely do i lose one, but I wouldnt mind the vigor that come with larger cuts...

Man i wont lie some of those crosses sound awesome... I think were in search of a similar male lol ' like to find one to boost flavor is some others as well. I will be following with great interest, are you covering those here or else where..

heres my tote, I do the same with this to raise seedlings and clone in the right temp rh ect.. easier to control ATM.

Clones I took Khalisi's and bs kush w/SG seedlings,
as of today they grew and greened up a lot after a ewc/molasses tea

Breeding for resistance is both very easy, and a giant pain in the ass. All you have to do is release something like spider mites... then look at the plants that survive longest and use the clones from those... replace spider mites with aphids... or create enough moisture to make PM... and again... select the plants that show the most resistance to create the next generation... then repeat.

I watched a few but they're more about methods for the breeder to use and less explanation of how basic stuff works so needless to say it was over my head

Check around either page 70 or 170 in the book I posted... I dont remember which.... I've had spider mites in my closet for quite some time now. I can tell a definite difference between which plants show varying degrees of spider mite resistance. Its difficult to maintain them from overrunning the whole area, but using some rather expensive predatory mites, I've been able to keep the spider mite colony moving around and not staying in one location. I have some plants that have never been colonized, and other plants they seem to keep returning to. So knowing which are resistant is simple... pain in the ass is dealing with the pests purposefully and longer term... I've recently decided to end it and use a chemical application to cease spider mites altogether... just had a flood, but I don't think I'll foster any PM lol...

lol release some spider mites he said ha ha ahh ha nope hehe But I know what your saying, I've done similar like with a buddys grow it was stressed to the max, everything had something wrong...... but low and behold there was one to two that was still chuggin along (purple melon and a NL/skunk) both did great against, bugs, mold, frost ect.. I still got crosses of them...
(side thought is about terp expression. at the point when they where in stess they stunk but not the way they do in prime conditions.... almost want them stressing so they got that dank stank of skunky road kill that was pissed on... it made eyes water and it was good smoke but with stress didnt produce well.) it would be nice to find and use a method that is stress like but doesnt stunt growth... I know a pipe dream lol

on another note I got me some roots... Khalisi FTW

That is exactly why many breeders these days do not breed for resistances. There is no easy way to do it... you have to subject the plants to the stress you want resisted. No other way. So its a crap shoot... If you get PM and you're growing desert seeds that had never witnessed PM in all their generations of evolution, you're more likely to have issues than not. Grow a strain fully bred in the PM prone PNW, and its likely to have that PM resistance.

agreed thats why I fancy yalls strains, similar climates, so if its working there it might here..... have had good luck so far..
Battle born strains, (keeping the name, sounds good lol)

what I plan on doing if I move forward with a strain for breeding is to clone it and run a clone though a gauntlet so to speak, see its resistance to pest and molds ect.. and see at what point it herms

I've been stressing my males to test em... put clones of my male plants in the fridge overnight (tip from tonygreen) then heat stress, over/under-watered... many rapid toppings... rootball trimming... trying to prove my boys in that battle tested way. Then I'm just hitting up "elite" and elite-ish clones along with things I personally like. After that, it's a process of elimination, factoring in:

Resin Production – the quickness, the amount and where it is being produced.
Distinct or interesting aromas.
Quickness to flower and speed to reach pollen dispersal.
Internode spacing
Leaf structure and Stature – whether it is more leaning to sativa or indica and how the plant grows in visible structure.
Resistance to hermaphrodism
Vigor and fitness factors that show a healthy normal growth pattern.

which is pretty much the same list I use in selecting females, adding potency to the category of resin production in the first spot, and adding flavor above aroma, making aroma the 3rd important item.

Nice, see Battle Born is gonna catch on lol.

so something i want to get into is reversing females/herming them... what do you do to make that happen?
I have the notion of throwing the females that i fancy into battle and seeing at what point they herm... wanting the ones that take the most. I really think that herming is a thing that most all have just come to accept..... why? i know that it does happen but should it under dialed in conditions? some do.
I know if a strain is known for herming easily then it wont see my room.... maybe a cab if its that good then if it plays nice it can see a another run.
