What is up? Looks like I will be one of the 3 Mods helping out around the house.

My name is Von and I am one of the Mods in the Organic soil forum. I have been growing for sometime now and all of my experience comes in the soil area. I grew for many years in soil before becoming an Organic freak. LOL

So, If you have any questions or suggestions for the betterment of the forum let one of us know.

The other 2 gentlemen will be along shortly. They are great people and have a great amount of experience in growing also.

Brother Bear here. Been a member at ICM since June '07. This is my third handle now. I used to be Bearfootlove and Raistlin Majere.

So if this is the first time we meet, hello to you.

If we have been friends in the past or friends still in contact, i look forward to continuing our friendships.

Currently growing organic. LC's mix #1 for several years now.
2k, no veg, bumming space in some friends veg cabs for now.
Will be copying and pasting my current grow into a thread here very soon.

Hello, I'm exploziv_gbb and I'll mod this subforum together with Vonforne and Brother Bear. I also mod the Romanian subforum and the New Growers subforum here at IcMag.
I grow indoors and outdors in soil, also have experience regarding growroom wiring and design. I will try to help in any thread I can.

Ive lurked these forums for a long time without ever having an account for the first 2 years of reading! and learnt soooooo much from all of you guys as well as many others on here. What you are doing for growers all around the world is truely selfless and worthy of great praise imo (in the bigger picture scheme of things).

Although u guys may not see the direct results of your time spent on here helping others you ARE actually changing many peoples lives by giving them the correct information they need to start growing successfully.

I just wanted to let u guys know this.. i guess its always implied on a certain level but its nice to be told that our efforts are truely appreciated once in a while and believe me in this case it really is..

Hi Vonforne, Brother Bear, and Exploziv_gbb. I've been growing in Soil now for the past 5 years after starting out with DWC and then moving to E&F tables. I switched initially because of electrical limitations, but then fell in love with the medium. I still consider myself a hydro guy at heart but don't think I'll go back anytime soon. I haven't even gotten into organics yet. Still so much to learn.

hello everyone, been growing in various mixes a couple years now and look forward to any new insights here. Been mixing a bag of basic soiless with humus and coir chips for flowering. My take on this is that humus is needed for all the innoculants and myco's I'm adding for root and plant health. Got tired of mixing and bought a soiless that has myco's in it. At home I read the fine print on the bag and " phosphorus will kill the living mycos in this mix so if used go very lite on phosphorus" !! I guess these mycos are able to live in peat? I'm going back to mixing my own as this has worked well for me, Walleye

High all,
I have 3 grows under my belt but learn most my tricks and important information on forums like these. I am new to IC and would like to introduce myself and my 5x5 Tent grow with 600w hps/mh cool 6" with 550 cf. inline fan, humidifier and an oil radiating heater for the cool nights. The soil I made myself followed hot recipe. 1/3 Perlite,1/3 Vermculite and 1/3 secret soil this makes a loose nitrified soil that holds a little extra water. Water as needed every 2-3 days and teas and guano's every 3-4 weeks durring the grow period should do it. Clones are 2 weeks old.

Hey guys just wanted to say thanks for helping us all perfect the best hobby in the world!! I'm relatively new to posting, but I've been reading from this site for quite some time. Just really wanted to at thanks and say that I might jump around a bit, as I plan on using multiple growing techniques. (Moms in soil, some clones in soil, some in hydro, etc.) I just want to see what works best for me as I'm sure we've all done at some point. All I do is research from this site all day almost. Love it.

Is there any way to post from a smartphone? Like an iPhone for instance? It would be so much easier. If not does anybody have the technical abilities to make something along those lines? If so would ICMag approve? Just throwing it out there. Anybody else agree???
