Just filled water to bottom of net in 18 gal and its 10 gal of water, is this enough room for tree size roots? I can stack totes and cut bottoms off the top tote to add prob 5 gals.

cyat how much did you end up pulling down from that big ass bubba kush. what was the stretch like with that plant i am running that strain now

I only got about 12 zips
my helper didnt know the ppm pen said x10 and had it running at over 3000 ppms for 2 weeks
I brought her back but the damage was done.

I doubt your bubba is like mine, it was from a questionable cut, and it stretched like crazy and yielded like shit.that strain is retired

Hey thanks cyat, dig your set-up. Cut a hole in a 14 gal tote and the 10 inch net pot goes down pretty far so I think I'll put it in the 18 gal and water level to bottom of net. first pic 18 gal, second in two 14 stacked.

dev, I used cut up buckets as risers, 2 or 3 of em. used the same rubbermaids, find em a little too floppy.

what do you think.... have 2 suncircles from late 90 s... 3 arm... what if i did a tree grow... 1 large plant in center of circle (no light under circle)... one in each corner as the room is 9 x 10 .. lights all 1000 hps... adjust lights 1 low 1 mid 1 high rpm i think is 12 rpm... that would be 5 plants... using ucdwc on all... i trust u guys... think this would work? If yes i should do my 1st journal and maybe u guys could coach me. you guys are badass kings and i trust u... think this would work ???? my moms are g-13, trainwreck, white widow, and pk ... thinking this would put new twist on tree grows ...

3 lights at different heights you should be able to get 2+lb trees. I would pick a single strain for my first run so the plants / trees are a uniform height.

ahrite..... the igloo design was a flop, it actually kept heat in, was too thick,and too small for me. saved the baby from 80 plus temps after 1 day, and rebuilt it on the fly.

new design is the old 27 gal totes with a few changes.......
lids are plywood, no more sagging no need to lightproof.
bucket is a sqaure 4 gal bucket, holes in the bottom only, filled with higromite, it only sits 4 in. deep in the tub, right on the water line giving me a lot more water than the old design, it holds 20 gal for water roots.
feed is a 1/2 in. hittin the water line direct( w/ valve), and top drip via a big hydro halo(this thing pisses hard), covered in a paint strainer to keep out bugs
res sits under with a 1.5 in. return, pump is a 1800 mag drive( overkill ) it diverts in the res to keep things mixing, gonna add a removable filter bag.

nutes are gh floraduo 1tsp a and b per gal, and subculture b,and a dash of mighywash to destroy aphids and gnats (killed all of em in my soil girls in one day!) resinator in flower.
the girl looks happy so far I'll take some pics soon

plywood lid wont attract mold or insects? thought subculture was only used in soil/coco.. do they have same benefits in hydro?

does anyone have experience running flip flop lighting? It seems like if a particular bud site only got 6 hours of intense lighting it would have half the yield, no?

Notice that there's always a center light on at all lighting times......I see heaths way of lighting as mimicking the movement of the sunlight!

If I recall right, Heath did not use CO2. I think he said something along the lines of being more of a hassle than it's worth for him.

from what i seen, high rate of air exchange is comparable to high CO2 levels.
