yep, aware of that.. temps are critical.. aniother reason to have AC. but only if needed, and I'm probably going to exhaust out with just 2 1k as temps are good here and i may not need to use AC.

because my situation has changed I will probably just do what I did my 2nd ever run.. which is partition off about 1/4 the room with panda to house res, controls, and ballasts (its big enough to put the ballasts along the wall w/o affecting res/control temps.) the air was drawn out, from near the cool tubes, thru a filter, w/ a 747 vortex, but because I dont want to actually use the windowsill for the AC(i vented out window because it was already being used for window's exhaust), I would vent thru the central AC duct as I would never actually use it.

because I'd be exhausting out (and $ concerns) I would probably not bother with AC.

thanks for posting bonzo.. great setup.. looks like it involves cutting holes which I wont be able to do. I wish you posted earlier cause that helps me visualize what sandman and hughie were talking about. nice root ball too

you guys keep trying to convince me. listen i know its easy ive done it before.

my deal on holes is this: I live in an environment where I could get 24 hrs notice at any time and already have several times. tearing down and relocating the girls is enough of a hassle am not interested in or willing to deal with plastering a hole and painting over it also in that window of time, as by the time i actually recieve my notice i really only have 12-18 hours till entry.

I would not have volunteered this fact but for to get the "its easy" crowd off my back. I am not interested in any line of advice regarding the location I do it at. this thread is about room design only and has taught me a lot about sealed rooms. thanks for all the contributors.

thanks for the suggestion bonzo its just not something im interested in

I know what you mean Lorax about the whole 24 hour notice dealy. That shit's rough.

Today I was chilling in my house with all the doors and windows open catching a breeze when I look out my front screen door to see my landlord pulling up. :yoinks:

So I fucking run to the circuit breaker and flip the rooms power off so the exhaust fan will turn off. Only I flipped the wrong one. Other problem was I had some extension cords running through the living room and part of the hall tarped off with black poly.

So I let him in fans are still running. He walks by hall :yoinks: doesn't notice!

We chat in the living room for a minute the whole time I'm hearing the fans humming hoping he won't say anything.

I excused myself to go to the bathroom and I go the breaker and manage to find the right switch.

I come back and he's telling me they don't plan on sellin the place for awhile and they'll give us plenty of notice. He says the lawn looks good and then he leaves. :woohoo:

Must be some fucking angels watching over me.
