@sourpuss - Thanks for dropping in man.

@Xray Kimono - Thank you really happy with this girl so far.

@Gardening Angel - Hey Bro, thanks man I appreciate it, loving that Road Dawg so far.

Started getting her staked up but still have more work to do. I did get two stakes and her main stalk supported up.

So far not sure the stretch on the other pheno, this is the only one I have gotten into flower at this point. Today actually I have a clone of this pheno that just went into flower, I will get some pictures posted of her soon. It will still probably be a couple weeks before i get the runt pheno into bloom.

Update 10/4 - Flower Day 35

So far so good with this girl, a true pleasure to grow, she has vigor, she is healthy and has been problem free. Lol she already passed my super stress test when she was just a seedling so this is a girl that wont be slowed down. She still has a ways to go and looks really ready to start exploding in growth in the next week or two. Her flower size and production are still ahead of the other plants that started flowering at the same time. Her aroma still has a long ways to go and much complexities to come yet but right now she does give off a strong skunky aroma. Honestly its hard to get an accurate smell of her or any other of the plants I have in flower due to the insane stink of a Road Dawg.

I do love this plant and am more than excited to finally have some Headbangers flowering in my garden. She is really packing on the frost and looks like she will produce some dense monster sized flowers. She has been stacking pretty nicely and has excellent flower production all the way to the bottom of the plant. This girl has been really easy to keep happy and I just love her monster sized fan leaves. The plant has a really nice and compact structure, she looks to put out a lot of flowers all the while taking up little space. I do love the dark green leathery look of her leaves, really a stunning plant to look at. She will be impressive in a few weeks once her flowers really start to take shape.

@nickman - Thanks bro, lots of anticipation building with this strain and this girl is starting to shape up nice. I should be able to flower out my other pheno soon and if I don't find exactly what Im looking for in these ladies I will just keep popping more seeds until I do.

@Gardening Angel - You are spot on, I really enjoy when flowering hits this point, the flowers really start taking shape and the smells really start to develop.

@Doc D - Thanks and congrats on having a couple girls going in this weekend, I know those girls will put on a good show for ya.

Update 10/11 - Flower Day 42

Wanted to get this update posted earlier in the week but just wasn't able to get around to it until now. I will be going out either today or tomorrow for another photo session for next weeks update. Throughout the tent as a whole things have really started taking shape over the past week. The Headbanger and some other girls started at the same time really have displayed a lot of change in flower structure and size and I expect that to continue. The banger of course has been the most impressive of the current group in her flower production. Her buds are larger and appear much more dense than the others and she looks like she will just continue to blow up in the coming weeks.

I really like her structure, she stays very compact and vertical. She really doesnt stretch out much beyond the sides of her pot. She does appear to be a mix of both parents in her structure so far. The longer node spacing limits the fan leaves and allows good light penetration to the lower sites in her compact structure. The structure and branches are strong on this pheno but she has become very top heavy and starting showing a little lean to her stance. The way things have gone so far it seems this girl is really going to pack on some weight and require a lot more support and staking than currently. I do have a clone of this lady that just started flowering last weekend I will get some pictures of her updated here. The other pheno I have still hasn't begun flowering but Im hoping in the next week or two I will be able to get things rolling with her finally.

Looking awesome kalyx... She really starting to express herself...!!!...
She looks untopped... What do u prefer, topped or untopped... Or do u grow them natural from seed and then top them when their clones...???... Just curious...
I ussually top a lot if my stuff... Not always though.

Anyway, your banger is really looking fire... Next few weeks she should be exploding...!!!...

@Bmac1 - Thanks for dropping in Bro, I appreciate the kind words. This lady has been getting very fat and looks extremely dense at this point, Im really happy with the progress.

@nickman - Thanks Bro, you are correct she was not topped. I wanted to see her natural growth structure from seed, the clones have been topped and trained though. I really love the vertical growth and branching she displays, allows her to stay very compact and take up little floor space.

Update 10/19 - Flower Day 49

Things have been moving along great and are really progressing nicely with this lady. It has been another hectic week for me and has taken me too many days to get this up so I will keep it short and sweet and do a more in-depth update with these weekends photo session. This girl has continued to swell up and really pack on the weight the past few weeks. Her buds are really starting to take shape and look to have some serious density to them.

Smells, size and frost production have all been going crazy the past week and she is looking beautiful. Her branching is pretty strong but she is requiring a lot of support due to the size and density of the flowers she is producing. This pheno seems to be a good mix of both parents in her growth and structure. She will hit 8 weeks this weekend, initially I was thinking she would need 11-12 weeks but by the looks of things she might be ready in 10 weeks.

Not the best of pictures but I wanted to throw it in the mix anyways. Im really happy to see the seed development in her prego branches. I didn't dust her with a whole lot of pollen, just a few buds on her 2 lowest branches. I thought she would make a good match with my Road Dawg and PURPetrator boys. Im thinking they might be some fun seeds for me to play around with in the future. I like the thought of a Headbanger x Road Dawg cross, could have the makings of some seriously stinky and tasty smoke. There will be more on this project and others in my El Dorado thread as soon as I get it posted up.

Thanks man, her flower production has been very impressive. This Sunday she will hit 56 days and I plan to go at least 70 with her. She could always finish up earlier but I had planned for her to go closer to the 12 week mark.

Those crosses both sound really sweet, some super stinky tasty combinations in you ask me.

@nickman - Thanks Bro, Im thinking she will want to go at least 10 weeks. She is moving along pretty fast so Im thinking she will be ready before 12 weeks.

Update 10/25 - Flower Day 56

Things are continuing to move along at a great pace with this girl. I have been very impressed with the size and density of her flowers and they just keep getting more swollen as the days pass. Now that the Road Dawg has come down you can actually get good smells from all the other ladies. Im loving the smell on this girl, right now she is all sour, fuel and skunk, exactly what you would expect from Headbanger. She has required staking and support but I have been impressed with the strength and sturdiness of her branches and structure. She has such fat dense nuggets and these small dainty branches, I expected there to be a bunch of branch snapping going on.

The smells are her have become straight heavenly and exactly how I had hoped she would smell. A big fan of the structure and branching with her, she is easy to manage, has a frame that can put on weight and she takes up little floor space with her structure. I know have 2 other clones of her into flower and its early but Im liking what Im seeing from them at this point. My other Headbanger pheno has still not started to flower out yet. I had hoped she would be ready weeks ago but she is a runt and really lacking vigor even from clone.

I wanted to keep updates short and sweet today and let the pictures do the talking for me.

Update Continued 10/25 - Flower Day 56

This girl just covered in sticky resin and she seems to pump more and more of it out as the days go by. She has some very big, almost sandy looking resin glands. Time will tell but I think this girl is going to be a good producer, she doesn't take up much flower space but is loaded with fat buds from top to bottom.

Hey Kaylx every looks and sounds amazing.

Her structure looks Good. Now are the two stakes and line just to supporting center stock to prevent sway during movement or some thing else?
I was also wondering if her trich color are clear or are you starting to seeing any white popping up on fan leaves.

Great and helpful coverage Brother.:)

@Ph-patrol - Hey brotha thanks for dropping in. Yep, the stakes are there mainly to support the main stalk and help with sway. I had recently added a 3rd stake and have been using them to help support and tie up her larger branches. She really needs a little help on her main stalk so she isn't at an ackward angle, the other staking and support is really preemptive at this point.

@NEW ENGLAND - LOL I love it. Thank you for the kind words this girl has been babied and loved like she is part of the family. Shit she is part of the family lol
