Grew out some headband daywrecker (or so they say), wasnt able to finish it needed another week or sumfa but it turned out dope anyway, smells like kush.

I got some of this when i went to cali and got to say that this is the dankest pot i've ever smoked-- but now i want to have my own plants and know that there are seeds but everyone says you can only get it by clone. Where do i get these seeds?

Hilarious thread.
Hint: Headband/D#1/Original Diesel is desired most by people that never grew it.
It's good,but not Top Ten,and imo there's many many better out there.
Most people who "have" "headband" actually have a Sour Diesel hybrid of one form or another.
Fwiw,FOE's "headband" photo pictured....is simply not THE Headband Clone.
There IS only One,the others are simply hybrids that are similar.
The Cali clubs generally have zero access to anything "elite",but they do know how to write "kush" on every label with a marker.
Think about it-if you were producing "elite" weed for clubs at top-$,would you sell your genetics (read: livlihood!) for $10 a clone,to any poor slob?
I know for a fact that clones are MUCH more closely held than that.

this is what I am finding out. I tried some headband from someone the other day, and it looked and smelled just like the description of the original. It was very good, but I have more potent pk in my mini garden already, and it is superior to the headband in every way I think. The kush scene in cali is a big fad, just like skunk scene was huge. There are many more potent classic strains than the headband too. Like c99, sensi star, ssh, I can go on. shit try a true Maui sativa and you will be like "who the fuck cares about headband"

i see a ton of Headband in my region on the wholesale market, it sells for less then SD...i like it...not as hyped as it seems to be elsewhere, i guess......SD gets all teh credit round here from the locals.....

good to hear. i'm in my 7th week. if the buds develop like the follage does- they'll be huge. i don't usually do indica but am thinking of thining the leaves a bit, becace those huge leaves are shading others.

The Headband cut that we have is notoriously finicky, super weak stems, lots of spacing between the nuggets, rock hard (non spear popcorn type)nuggets, very few fan leaves, easy to trim. The taste is off the chain and after you've been vaping it if you cough an hour later you can taste it sometimes. Tastes like Sour and OG. Thrives best with a flush and then feed. Very very sensitive.

I've passed one cutting of it to someone on here. It was a gift for the tough time they went through. Other than that I've never given it out. It stays in my family circle and as greyskull said not everyone is part of the family tree. It's been in our circle for over 5-6 years now, and I have a friend who only grows this.

It's nice because you hear about it and want to try it, but there is plenty of amazing herb out there. If you can't get it don't let that keep you from appreciating what you have. I might flower a cut next round to show everyone what it looks like.

You can find it at harborside labeled OG Headband. I'm guessing to differentiate it from the 707 Headband and all the rest, which by the way are not headband at all.

If the person I gave it to has run it and wants to chime in, do so.

the one most of you guys are talking about and posting pics of looks like the 707. the original diesel, headband is a heavy and pretty potent. one of the stoniest around. it smells like rubber. haha it smells kinda like those beach blow up floaty things when u pull um out of the package. but taste much better. not exactly how it smells but more...sweetish dankage. hard to explain. i have a damn hard time getting technical explaning all the tastes in strains. it also has more spear shape buds takes around 10 weeks, maybe more but is dank! hard to get now days
