Thank You for your post. Yes everyone that contributed to this tread has shown excellent pictures of their Haze plants.

Smoke update on the AH#1. I let the plant cure for 4 months and and I've been smoking this stuff the last few months. No ceiling, I get just as high now after months of smoking it.

Smells like thyme and green tea with a very slight hint of musk to it (not sweet). Very smooth with a wonderful unique taste... hits fast and hard.

Not racy or paranoid at all. Very happy buzz that sends blazing waves of pure pleasure up and down my chest and stomach. It's narcotic but not indica at all, I cant really explain it. Never had this sensation before so I dont know how to describe it. Seriously, seriously, seriously it is the best weed I've have ever had the pleasure to smoke.

Thank You, that is an excellent smoke report. Like the fact that you said is not paranoid. When someone seriously and truly proclaims something as the best cannabis they have ever had the pleasure of smoking, it is time to take notice of that smoke.

Big thumbs up.

I think I can understand your fascination with HAZE, not just as a pure sativa but also as an IBL cultivar. Cannabis is a complex plant, and in many ways commercial breading has a tendency to erase sometimes rare and sought after smoke report traits for the sake of crass commercialization, like quick flowering, by crossing with indicas. It's a tough call, because the widespread prohibition of cannabis makes the preservation of it's biodiversity difficult. Crass commercialization tends toward a philosophy of monoculture, a huge mistake IMHO.

OTOH, some of the very best seed banks go out of their way to preserve "heirloom" genetics as best they can. The destruction of the huge Russian genetic seedbank for lack of funds and a new permanent location, for example, was tragic. I cannot help but believe that mega-corporations that promulgate a philosophy of monoculture, for all plants including cannabis, do all of humanity a huge disservice. Destruction of "heirloom" plant cultivars strictly for the sake of a spanking new cross that is unstable makes little sense.

HAZE, particularly Hazebros cultivars of Haze, represent a milestone (pun intended) in man's relationship with cannabis that should not be forsaken. In that regard, I hold you and all the other breeders of cannabis as respected "elders" in this noble quest.

Peace be with you!

yes i agree, haze is unique, and crossing it... well you gain hybrid vigour, but you also loose those nuances, depends on type of cross of course, but most hazes crosses tends to loose that something special about OH...sometime im surprised how many crosses are called "haze" when they dont taste like haze and dont get you high like good haze at all...not everybody has to love haze, but everybody who loves cannabis, must agree with preservation of this line..bigup to ACE

its sad that some people really dont know what we talk about.. like this..

Forget the Haze. Get some C99. It's a sativa blast of the highest order!

elmanito

To much strains with the name Haze in it, but weak in potency for a Haze.

David762,

Thank You for your post. I enjoy Hillbilly HAZE because as I have gotten older the knock down potency of an Indica is not what I need. I am not really in pain often (sometimes I have lower back pain) so I don't need a powerful pain reliever. I need something to take the edge of life off, I need something mental, I need something racy and energetic. Thus I am finding myself leaning more and more towards Sativas.

I feel the exact same way man. I've turned my attention as of late to Sativas. Always loved em, but now I'm actually growing em. C99 is good, but man the effect is just not for me. Makes me overly paranoid about stupid crap that normally doesn't bother me. I'm a fan of Acapulco Gold, Mekong and the oldschool badass, NL5xHaze. Also growing some of the Dr Grinspoon which is a pure sativa and flowers for 100 days or more. The way I see it, I already wait around 70 or 80 days for my OG Kush and Kandy Kush to flower, so it's no big deal for me to wait a month longer than I do for those strains for my sativas to finish. I dont get why most people complain so much about long flowering times. The wait is worth it to me. Sativa's are magic without a doubt, I just love them. I'm in my thirties, but grew up smoking oldschool weed, I'm all about the Haze. :dance013: Like to be up, happy and love to get the laughs when I get high. I find Sativas to be a blast of a good time! :canabis: I do have some chronic pain due to an injury from my invincible days, so I keep some choice indica's around for night smoking.
