Bud: ‘You can’t come in here!’
Lou: ‘Why not?’
Bud: ‘Well because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But I’m not sick.’
Bud: ‘It doesn’t matter.’
Lou: ‘Well, why does that guy get to go in?’
Bud: ‘Because he’s vaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But he’s sick!’
Bud: ‘It’s alright. Everyone in here is vaccinated.’
Lou: ‘Wait a minute. Are you saying everyone in there is vaccinated?’
Bud: ‘Yes.’
Lou: ‘So then why can’t I go in there if everyone is vaccinated?’
Bud: ‘Because you’ll make them sick.’
Lou: ‘How will I make them sick if I’m NOT sick and they’re vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But they’re vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘But they can still get sick.’
Lou: ‘So what the heck does the vaccine do?’
Bud: ‘It vaccinates.’
Lou: ‘So vaccinated people can’t spread covid?’
Bud: ‘Oh no. They can spread covid just as easily as an unvaccinated person.’
Lou: ‘I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore. Look. I’m not sick.
Bud: ‘Ok.’
Lou: ‘And the guy you let in IS sick.’
Bud: ‘That’s right.’
Lou: ‘And everybody in there can still get sick even though they’re vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘Certainly.’
Lou: ‘So why can’t I go in again?’
Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘I’m not asking who’s vaccinated or not!’
Bud: ‘I’m just telling you how it is.’
Lou: ‘Nevermind. I’ll just put on my mask.’
Bud: ‘That’s fine.’
Lou: ‘Now I can go in?’
Bud: ‘Absolutely not?’
Lou: ‘But I have a mask!’
Bud: ‘Doesn’t matter.’
Lou: ‘I was able to come in here yesterday with a mask.’
Bud: ‘I know.’
Lou: So why can’t I come in here today with a mask? ….If you say ‘because I’m unvaccinated’ again, I’ll break your arm.’
Bud: ‘Take it easy buddy.’
Lou: ‘So the mask is no good anymore.’
Bud: ‘No, it’s still good.’
Lou: ‘But I can’t come in?’
Bud: ‘Correct.’
Lou: ‘Why not?’
Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But the mask prevents the germs from getting out.’
Bud: ‘Yes, but people can still catch your germs.’
Lou: ‘But they’re all vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘Yes, but they can still get sick.’
Lou: ‘But I’m not sick!!’
Bud: ‘You can still get them sick.’
Lou: ‘So then masks don’t work!’
Bud: ‘Masks work quite well.’
Lou: ‘So how in the heck can I get vaccinated people sick if I’m not sick and masks work?’
Bud: ‘Third base.’

That's part of the whole misconception; folks thinking that their own experience is -the- experience, and that COVID has consistent or predictable outcomes.

The facts include that COVID has killed relatively healthy persons, and for some who are immunocompromised, who most would assume that statistically, would be goners, have survived, with varying degrees of illness.

Seeing COVID only through the eyes of 'me and my experience' leads to false assumptions. A fellow in his later 60s, with 2 forms of cancer, had COVID upon returning to the Yukon Territory from Ireland with his daughter, at a time that the hospital they went to weren't even aware enough of COVID to know to test for it; he was most of the way through it, before someone tested him, and confirmed that was what he was dealing with. He went on to whip one of his cancers, but the other is now killing him.

While I was in the hospital up here, dealing with a massive infection a surgeon had left unaddressed, an acquaintance in his late 60's/about 70, who had made lots of assumptions about what COVID is and isn't, died on another floor in the hospital; he was pretty healthy, relatively speaking, a pilot, and fit & trim..

That same week here, that hospital had a 20-something-year-old woman die of COVID, and about 6 months before that we saw an MMA fighter (retired) in his later 40's, otherwise regarded locally as being as "healthy as an ox", die from COVID in the local hospital, as well.

While the profits Pfizer & others have made from this scourge are outrageous, it's a major error in thinking to assume that COVID has predictable outcomes and is consistently benign for the young or healthy. It's just not so.
It has predictable outcomes - it is a virus and the factors that increase risk of severe disease and death are known. Heart disease, obesity, old age and so on. For children the predictable outcome is two dead per one million. But of course, increased risk does not translate into certainty of death. Honestly though, the first thing that came to my mind when I saw you type ”MMA fighter” is anabolic steroids (popular among practitioners of the sport and a known cause of cardiac disease). Then again if he was not a steroid user, high intensity training can in and of itself cause cardiovascular disease. A public opinion that tend to the outward picture of an athlete who excercise and keep a strict diet could easily fail to grasp how someone in obvious perfect health can suddenly drop dead. It happens.

”When children are admitted to hospital with SARS-CoV-2 infection, those at greatest risk of severe disease or death are teenagers, those with cardiac or neurological conditions, or 2 or more comorbid conditions, and children who are significantly obese. These groups should be considered higher priority for vaccination and for protective shielding when appropriate. Our findings suggest that established risk factors for severe disease in adults also operate in the early life-course. Whilst odd ratios for poor outcomes were increased for nearly all comorbidities in children, the absolute increase in risk for most comorbidities was small compared to children without underlying conditions. This emphasises that our findings should be understood within the broader context that risk of severe disease and death from COVID-19 and PIMS-TS/MIS-C in hospitalised children is very low compared with adults.”

How is obesity in children even a thing? It is the result of harmful additives that these capitalists put in food our products in order to increase their profit. These people produce disease in the general public then force upon us their products and solutions. Covid is no different, it is literally a lab product developed in the United States and China for the express purpose of selling drug treatments that the capitalist owners of manufacturers hold patents on. None of this has anything to do with public health, it is nothing but a well thought out business model purposed to increase profit and control over the public.

Our school district here, rather small in size, had reported 211 cases in students and 46 cases in staff as of earlier this past week. That's since school opened up on August 11 here. It's estimated that in short order, each of them will infect another 8 persons by the time they quarantine.... assuming they comply and quarantine..

As of yesterday, Fairbanks Memorial Hospital had ONE ICU bed remaining available. After that's filled, folks will be medevacced out, assuming a spot can be found elsewhere.

Then there's these issues with children and COVID.

Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) and COVID-19 - Symptoms and causes - Mayo Clinic

COVID-19 (coronavirus) in babies and children - Mayo Clinic

From your linked research ‘Findings’ section (the study also stated it as not peer reviewed):

>>>””Findings 81 studies were included, 57 in the meta-analysis (of which 22 provided IPD) and 26 in the narrative synthesis. Most studies had an element of bias in their design or reporting.””<<<

As was the case with adult infections, there are longer lasting after-effects with children, some of which are serious, and correlation is present, but not yet a clear cause and effect relationship, such as with MIS-A, which we’ve seen post-COVID infected children in the relatively small Interior Alaska community medevacced in order to deal with.

Infants face a whole ‘nother level of risk from COVID-19 infection in contrast to older children, per the link above (more links can be found to bolster this)

Studies deal with trends, and I can guarantee that there are persons in your age range, with similar levels of healthfulness, who suffered far worse than a 3-day dry cough when they had COVID. Not all of the variables are understood, as to why some persons suffer more than others, and why some have such horrible longer-lasting side effects. But it’s real, and can be found in research.

"interesting" is all i can give you until i see more peer-reviews and more studies replicating their premise. sorry if you don't think that is enough.

No I meant I listed more articles - like more than 4 or.?. Off the top of my head one Nature peer reviewed and one NIH peer reviewed. BTW peer reviews are not often so great. Definitely not conclusive. Often readers just see who did the study or review and rubber stamp it. I've been asked to peer review some papers but shy away.

Nefariously... get rid of the old and the young. How do you call that?

I'd prefer it be a schematic of getting rid of the dangerously willfully ignorant, and focusing on maintaining or assisting the proactive and thoughtful. Not withstanding the special needs folks, by the way, for whom some of them are not willfully ignorant, but rather afflicted... earning them a pass.

Just last month, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett claimed that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine “has faded” and urged Israelis to “quickly” get a third dose. It is unclear when Bennett will begin urging Israelis to line up for their fourth dose. As National File recently reported, assuming booster shots are administered every five months – as Joe Biden and Anthony Fauci have discussed – a child born today would be vaccinated against COVID-19 175 times throughout their adult lives, and as many as 240 times if life expectancy should increase.

"a child born today would be vaccinated against COVID-19 175 times throughout their adult lives, and as many as 240 times if life expectancy should increase."

Pfizer, meanwhile, is busy developing a twice-per-day COVID-19 pill that its CEO believes will become required alongside vaccinations to fight the China-originated virus with a 99.97% survival rate.

That makes several massive assumptions about the course and mutations of COVID-19, versus standard mutations over time involving viruses in general.

Right now, with our current life expectancy in the US, most persons are eligible to receive nearly 70 flu vaccine injections.

WaPo Editorial; In times of need and limited resources, Doctors should be able to give priority to the vaccinated, rather than the irresponsibly unvaccinated.

Opinion | Doctors should be allowed to give priority to vaccinated patients when resources are scarce - The Washington Post

Yep, avoiding the jab was your choice, and you had the right to make that choice, how ever much it may have further endangered your community's spread of the virus overall.

Now you can proudly and defiantly take a number, move to the back of the line at the ER, and wait until those who gave a fuck and got vaccinated are treated.

i've already had nearly twenty flu shots. i don't miss feeling like death warmed over for a week or so either. got a few other vaccinations due as well. gonna get one for pneumonia, one for shingles, plus anything else they have laying around that i might find useful.

My first Shingrix/shingles vax kicked my ass for a couple days, almost as much as the 2nd and 3rd Moderna COVID-19 vaxes did.

Before I headed for Australia a couple years ago I went down the list of potential 'good-to-have' vaccines. Most were pretty benign in side-effects, after the Shingrix stuff.

(*By the way, my younger boy just averaged ~35 lbs. out of 4 Asterix potato plants in the beginning of the second row of that variety; nearly 8.5 lbs. per plant. We have a new record plant here for spud production!!Unfortunately I had 68 of them planted in 2 rows of 34 each, and we're now asking neighbors to take burlap 20-lb. bags of spuds off our hands. My Irish ancestors would be proud!!).
