Heavily invested in the lies I see. The CDC reporting does not distinguish between "breakthrough" infections and false positive PCR tests.

Nine members of MLB’s Yankees who are vaccinated have tested positive for Covid with “breakthrough” infections.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/sports/...covid-n1267552

The CDC is a vaccine company https://www.bmj.com/content/350/bmj.h2362.full

The FDA was publicly funded prior to 1992, by fiscal year 2017, three-fourths (75%) of the FDA’s annual budget increase came from user fees, with the pharmaceutical industry in essence paying FDA regulators’ salaries.

What does breakthrough infections have to do with anything i said?
The number of hospitalizations and deaths due to breakthrough infections are practically nonexistent, while the number of hospitalizations and deaths among the unvaccinated is still going strong.
Wait, were you agreeing with me?
It’s hard to tell.

Edit:
PS. You accused me of being heavily invested in lies. If you have another source for weekly covid hospitalization and mortality rates that dispute what I provided, i would be very interested in looking at it.

No I don’t think it’s like that at all...

bullet proof vests are made of Kevlar and or ceramic plates
and for a healthy young person there risk of death via Covid is less than there risk of dying via lightening strike...
so imo it’s kinda like refusing a bulletproof vest to take a walk in Santa Monica

(I’m gonna workshop a better one from perspective though)

how about this, neglecting to get the vaccine in a pandemic is like refusing to put ur family in the local bomb shelter during air strikes on ur city because ur afraid of enclosed spaces (claustrophobic).

that way it highlights the individuals (misplaced) fear and also who bears the brunt of the risk (older family)...

but from my perspective idk that there is any good way to tell whether vaccine fears are misplaced or properly placed....

You may want to use a different analogy, as you will regrettably find more deaths to youth from the virus this year than from lighting over any ten year period.

Foochie is the modern day re-incarnation of an evil person with a little man complex. he hides behind madcow now. Politicized this BS WuFlu.

So Donald was a good guy when he told us all the virus was nothing to worry about and would "go away in Spring" , he got himself and his family vaccinated, and it killed six hundred thousand fellow Americans. Yet the Dr is evil for telling us to take precautions over that same virus.

Actually I said a healthy young person. There is a distinction. The vast majority of young people who have died from covid had serious health issues (besides covid)... my claim holds up.

any other erroneous nitpicks or was that the only thing you could find ?

The seven day moving average rate for new US hospital admissions for covid19 is over 3000 per day.
The seven day moving average rate for US covid deaths is between 300-400 per day.
In the past couple of months, there has been a big increase in covid hospital/ICU admissions among teenagers.
They all had one thing in common....they were not fully vaccinated.

The pandemic is still going strong in the US, and it’s circulating within certain groups of unvaccinated people who socialize together without taking precautions.

I read the other day that the cdc issued a recent directive on pcr cycle limits... that the new s.o.p. Is to to run less cycles on the vaccinated persons test vs more cycles on unvaccinated person (28 to 35 Mayb) I can’t recall the exact numbers in the article..
Do you have any info on this? Seems like a classic case of stat juking if true (to the laymen)

At this point in time, I am kind of ambivalent about testing. Maybe it’s because I received the vaccinations. I dunno.
Just like I’m kind of ambivalent about mask wearing too. Probably for the same reason. I dunno.
If a bunch of people don’t want to get vaccinated and don’t want to wear masks and want to socialize with like minded people, who am i to argue?
This far into a global pandemic, they can do what they want.
In the meantime, I’ll continue to be there if they want a jab. I’ll even be wearing a mask for them.
Sorry....feeling kinda melancholy this morning.

Getting back to your question, i suppose the testing results are skewed for vaccinated folk because they have artificially created antibodies, so they are changing the parameters. It’s just a wild guess. I never studied laboratory science. It’s over my head.

the PCR test, of the changed cycle threshold number, does not detect antibodies. it amplifies and detects the viral RNA ... ah ha! maybe there is so much spike protein in the jabbed that it only "looks" like a viral infection. i haven't binged to see how much of the viral RNA is used to determine infection by 'rona virus.

it is roughly 30,000 (nucleotides? codons?), while the spike is about 2,500.

No, your claim held no water what so ever.
Comparing Lighting Strikes to Covad cases was a poor idea.
I understand your need to convince yourself otherwise, and
fully expect to see you attempt to do so. Enjoy your day.

Like I said before it's more a vitamin D issue among the young people. We all have shortages in the winter. How bigger the shortage how more severe the symptoms are.Research has shown in India that it is case about vitamin D and yep there are shortages of vitamin D too, to hot in the sun during the day.

Don't know if you are referring to this, or if this is yet another way to 'cook the books'...

(Per the cdc) 309 young people (0-17) died via covid last year.
of those deaths 80% had one or more comorbidities (cancer, auto immune disease, obesity etc)
309 x .2 = 61.8 deaths in young people who didn’t have some other already diagnosed disease…

average number of lightening strike deaths in the USA each year (per wiki) -51

so I guess what I should have said is a young (0-17) healthy person has nearly the same chance of dying via lightening strike as they do of covid…
(Powerball type odds)…

51 total lightening deaths compared to 61 covid deaths in the healthy 0-17 age group.. (out of 80 million kids under 18)

Going to be the only seed vendor at the 2 day NM legislative event (Whoo-hoo!).

The 2-day conference numbers attending are capped to 150, there's 106 signed up. Even another member here on IC is going to the conference! Awesome! Seats are socially distanced and PROOF of vaccination via vaccination card is warranted . Normally the Convention Center can hold up to 2000+.

NM is still dipping the toe in the waters, finding it tepid for plunging/diving cannonballing into the RELIEF waters after 15 month STAY@HOME in reopening businesses. Still there's a cap on capacity on stores, and still recommending masks, but not stringent like prior.

More than adequate to the task, of demonstrating an agenda.

I think it will. Thanks Gry. Plus contact with Sister of The Valley is in contact for our autoflower CBD Hemp. Doors opening, socially distanced, PROOF of vaccination card, minimizing crowds.

NM has a $5M lottery for those vaccinated, too! Better than beer or rifles. Cough, cough.
