I'll try to find a link to the science. In Rick strassmans book, DMT the spirit molecule. He explains that low doses of LSD (and I believe other tryptamine also) mimick an amphetamine until you get enough in your system to completely fill the receptors.

This also explains people commenting that their acid was speedy. It was more likely just dosed weak.

We always scooped up sheets or liquid vials from the guys on Haight-Ashbury st in San Francisco often back in the 70's. We never took weak acid lol. Considering who we knew and how much we got It was very easy to get. Ripping anyone off in the '70s was rare. We didn't notice weaker acid of rip offs until the 90's when those gelatin tabs hit the streets. No matter what kind we took we never got tired. We knew it was all in for a 24hr trip. Be took a lot rarely just 1 tab or cube.

It does more than just pain relief. There are 2 sides in the house the recreational and the medicinal side. I am glad I took on growing as I can then insure an adequate supply of the buds I use are readily available, vice the very sporadic availability of certain strains on the legal market. I used to get the vials from a guy in Berkeley. Acid in the 90’s was missing something. The government I think was making it harder to source chemicals needed. If it was weaker, you could just take more.

I once read that in the 1960s and early 70s a single hit of LSD was around 300 micrograms. And by the late 80s and early 90s lots of the stuff tested by the DEA was in the 35 to 50 microgram range. These days 100 micrograms is the standard. Although I suspect most are a bit under that (or mine are over).

And if you double or triple up you only end up not 200 or 300 mics instead of 600 or 900 mics.

Timothy Leary felt that from a sober baseline without a tolerance buildup that 1100 micrograms was about as high as you could get on LSD. Anything over that was redundant. I have also read that if you take huge doses,.way over the 1100 mark. You may stay high for way longer. If there is still any in your system when your receptors have room for more. This is also why you need to double your dose if you want to peak again but can wait 2 days and most of your tolerance is back to normal

Cannabis is not medicine per say. Possibly glaucoma and epilepsy.
It doesn’t take away pain. It was doesn’t cure anything.

It can work as antibiotic against certain gram-positive bacteria, like I wrote about Irvin Rosenfeld,
he gets no bone protrusions thnx to Cannabis, although it's not the best quality he gets from the US government.Normally he had to be operated on every time.I've seen in practice it can work against skin cancer as pure oil, when used topical.
