Have Done Some Research At Your Urging...

I want to also add, look at Dr.Paul's 14th district in Texas. It has NASA a huge amount of Chemical plants. Galveston, Brazoria, and parts of Harris County it’s a huge district. He often runs his office below budget and returns those funds back to Washington, what other politician running today can say that. My point is there is no shortfall in his district while keeping a balanced budget. With him in office many may not even recognize much change in their daily lives just less intrusion and more wealth for the working class.

Look at his campaign financial records no debt, while Hillary and others have mass amount of funds the media reports but fails to report the debt of these candidates. Ron Paul knows check & balances; it was his job in congress in the sub committees. No corruption or soap opera will come from the oval office with him as President. He has demonstrated integrity time and time again. His voting records shows that when he takes an oath to uphold the Constitution he will fact do so, no other can say that. I bet he wont even have a press secretary to get up there and lie to the people with unanswered questions, I bet he would speak for himself and much much more.

I hope he inspires many to get involved at a local level in politics and bring back the greatness America had like I read about in school.

Another thing I like is openness of govt. not secrecy. He could blow a lid off all these conspiracy questions people have. Maybe he would open those closed files that many of the public want to know about like JFK, UFO’s and such why keep it a secret and guessing games tell the tale so the public can move on to other things. All these petty discussions on big issues will have resolve. Hey if there is no merit to any of this stuff and its all a theroy then govt and others should have no worries right?

"A LoneStarTimes.com investigation has conclusively established that a leading figure in the American neo-Nazi / White-Supremacist movement has provided financial support to Ron Paul’s 2008 Presidential campaign.

The individual in question is Don Black, the founder, owner and operator of Stormfront, a “white power” website that both professional journalists and watch-dog groups have identified as the premier English-language racist/hate-site on the Internet."

There's a lot more of this out there, if you just look. The amount of white supremacist, militia-type backing Ron Paul has is considerable. That's why he won't get my vote.

Fat A
That’s why he won’t get your vote? I have been to Meetups where there are a vast amount of former socialist, racialist, apathetics, liberals, republ;ican, democrats, non participants in either or all...its kind of neat to see everyone get along for the greater good of this nation. Many extremist views have turned to a more moderate view of things, instead of militancy against select groups. Due to this campagin alone, people are comming together working as 1, but many of the real extremist & haters dont like that.

This proves his Liberty msg works and is real. Its forcing those to come together much like cannabis does. Liberty applies to all not a select few.

Folks are really short sighted its no wonder the country is a mess. Division is what you want? You can have it but be careful what you wish for, these people on all extreme sides could take up bullets instead of the ballot, you want that? civil war ll, because if change does not happen and we continue on this path thats what we'll get. ....you much rather have these folks voting.

I disagree, not sure where you live but do some research. A good deal of hospitals were founded and built by charities not govt. money.

It's not very relevant how they were founded-I'm more concerned with how they are run today-the ones founded by churches are rarely still run by them these days.
Every single hospital but one in my city (a city of a bit less than a million) is run by profiteering pigs. The only one that will even see you if you have no money or insurance is run by the University. Show up at one of the others, and they'll send you over to the Univ. hospital. The others could care less about sick people- they are in it for the $$.
And that is basically my point-instead of the govt doing something, you have corporate healthcare (or corporate education) moving in, making money off people and usually doing a shittier job at whatever they are supposed to be doing.

Guys- Do the gipper a favor? Keep the squabbles out, and let's leave this for informed, fact based discussion. Obviously these are issues people feel passionate about, but if it comes to the point where you wanna shit on someone, that's when you have to say "I'll agree to disagree". I know everything has been clean and kosher thus far, but I can smell it right around the corner.

Thanks gang!

Stop being a whore, wear a condom, and you won't have to worry about having kids. **** Ron Paul, this country is doomed with or without him.

I hear ya, and I don’t disagree. And it does really suck when people have very few choices & all suck. I'm just saying Ron Paul's msg breeds competition, would eliminate federal funds to those who are not citizens who have put a strain on quality in health care. There are no easy solutions to this mess. Insurance companies and Pharm have played a huge part in cost of healthcare that is below average in some places. I know folks who had their children at home than risk chances at some hospitals, no shortage of horror stories there...but again if you think the fed will do a better job than visit a VA hospital, lol I've seen 2 that are real nice, and many that resemble the dirtiness of some county jail.

Since the start of our country, 1,125,000 Americans have been killed in war.

Since 1973, between 37,000,000 and 43,000,000 Americans have been killed in abortions, more than the entire population of California.

Not being pro or con, just stating numbers.

thanks pops, iwas talking about that a t work this week...

usa, you're right about the neocons, I guess I was referring to the new neo-cons (new neo?, does that work?) who use libertarian ideas and views to push their agenda.

When you read these posts everyone is really saying the same thing. Ron Pauls attraction comes from his honesty. We are all looking for someone that at least speaks the truth. Even if you disagree with someone or some group you can work with them to accomplish fair and equitable compromise if they are honest.

As far as health care goes it doesn't have to be govt. run but govt. funded or at least regulated. We don't have anymore community hospitals because for profit health care corps. have either bought them or run them out of business. Like I said if we have honest people dealing with this issue free from greed and ideology we can look at everything that works and doesn't work and come up with the perfect system for us.

usa-
point taken on VA hospitals.
RE homebirth- for most women, study after study has shown it is safer to have babies at home than at a hospital.Because hospitals are for sick people, and pregnancy is not a disease!

vaprpig- you put it well:govt funded/regulated, not necessaily govt run.No argument that our govt can be a poorly run wasteful behemoth. Where I'm coming from is that I'd still rather have that system, but run efficiently by honest people, than turning things over to businesses.
