Food for thought...

This plant was fed Dr Hornby Iguana Juice Bloom for the first 4 weeks into 12/12. She was fed a plain water diet for the final 4weeks... Bubbledust at 40days bloom under 400watt hps [Growdoc Seeds]

Many companies claim their bloom-stim "enhanced flavours, oils and aromas".... and perhaps they do.

The truth is that 'Advanced Nutrients' are the only company to be testing their product against levels of essential oils and resin development (as we understand it)... :chin:

Have used Bio-Biz range for many many years (still use ALL-Mix sometimes). Whilst 'TopMax' is a good 'natural' product (enhancing growth), it departs a taste that I personally do not like in my smoke... my buddy uses it and we smoke his buds... but IMO it's not where it's at... :joint:

We'd use TopMax over HOTC's 'Ripen'

Hi 4iiii'z

have you ever tried the B'cuzz Bloom Stimulator ? It is 100% organic.
used to use this alongside Bio Biz and liked the results  Again we'd only use this in the 5-6th week of 12/12 then use water as always !!! (HOTC will claim this as false info. some how...lol)

Just lately however we've been running Dr Hornby Iguana Juice 'bloom'. Been having problems with this product since it carries lots of N for a bloom fert,,, so have not been using any bloom enhancer lately (other than the DrH)...

hope this helps dLeaf

Growdoc: this is an organic vs. chem situation. comparing my chemical plants with organic plants would be like comparing apples and oranges.

take care!!

Hey chroni
In S. Africa you got lots of natural ferts available on ya doorstep, if not slightly further a-field (Kenyan guano).
Notice you grow outdoor...Seems strange that you use chemical ferts in such a rich environ. ? Is there a reason for this? Do you have really poor soil in your area? or are you just lazy? you got use thinking :D

enjoy your day, enjoy the way you think and enjoy your method of growing!! :D

hon-chroni you are super cool  I might stick this quote in my sign-off :D peace buddy :friends:

Note: this thread was edited by highonthechronic and me in the name of civility. while our methods contrast, we both have a grasp of what the Bubbleman calls "the message", the erb, roots, n culture that makes us all erbalists. and as erbalists we find both respect and grace in others ways, not just in ourselves... we live, we learn, we sow, we grow and we reap :canabis:

What's wrong with letting people do what's right for them? As for the flush.. You're both right but you're both a little wrong too. We all know that in organics you feed the soil and the soil feeds the plant. There is a delay there of a week or so if not more. Hydro, food goes (basically) to the plant right away. So, can't you see there would be a difference in the flush time? It's obvious that you would have to flush longer in soil. Even longer if the soil was full of guanos, sea kelp, and manures..

To alot of people 3 weeks is a long long time. Not every soil user uses power flower or makes there own high end mix. If they were in super soil I'd never say 3 weeks of flush. So, you guys need to clarify and be a little more general. The idea here is to help others not just talk about yourself...

Cron, hmm don't you think GH is going to sell whatever it can? We don't get Ripen in the US but we get Koolbloom and it's close to poison. I look at it this way.. GH, looks at growers and how they 'push it' with extra bloom foods on their three part. They say, "shit, they don't need that crap but they are paying more for that then the main nutes" I WANT A TASTE!~ So, they make their own version. It's not that they thought you needed it.. They saw a market and made a nute. Now they have koolbloom liquid.. It's 0-10-10.. lol 0-10-10 bloom foods have been around for 30 years.. It's nothing new..

Do what works for you, I don't care. I know what works for me. :D

Also, Chron, you might want to change your name and quit sign your post ‘peace’ if you don’t want to be talk to like a gangster. :)

Peace out and fuck all ya’ll haters! :biglaugh:
