Predator auger from harbor freight 170 with a coupon 6in bit gas powered. Cheaper than 60 bucks home depot rental for 4 hrs. It's a one man band over here and I'm looking to do 4 sites this year.

I have used augers before. I prefer using good old elbow grease and man labor. I like digging my holes out, I actually enjoy the dig and the exercise that goes with it. I like to try and get all my deep and hard digging done by mid spring when the weather is decent. A good American Bulldog shovel "that's the brand", a grubbing hoe and a pick axe... I have always hauled my supplies, dirt and plants on foot after driving close to my target location it was a park and a hike from there. This year I am getting a Polaris Ranger and its gonna make the hauling so much easier, it has a bed in the back perfect for the size of your favorite peat based bales... I am glad I was able to purchase this new land last year and now I don't have to be on the road to get to my locations any more. I can go for miles just from my back yard and personally have over 100 acres to my own to grow on.

Sweet! I have the same thing in my backyard, and can travel the roads with my atv and access about 1000 acres of conservation land in a watershed.

The ATV (mine's a Grizzly with mud tires) is a huge advantage. I'll use it when I setup, but not on my visits.

I use this for my 12v pumps.

The cables come off and I leave it there. I bring it back when it needs a charge which isn't very often.

I have another one and use a portable pump/pressure tank because there's lots to water there. A couple years ago, my home well pump (I'm rural) went belly up. Then my water line needed replacing. So the plumber setup a temporary water pump and pressure tank at the well to feed the house. It's was tiny and worked great so I bought it from him. I use it at my biggest grow. Similar to this one but a bit smaller (painted flat camo obviously)

It has a 12v out plug. You must have a plug for that. You can probably pick one up at Radio Shack/Source. It would be perfect for a 250gph pond pump, and a nice long 1/4 inch hose. You can even get a small solar panel layed flat on the ground to recharge it.

Thinking of grabbing an inverter with 2 sockets or can i just wire it to a male lighter plug and use the female plug supplied with the power pack.

An inverter will change it to 120v. A little 120v pump will kill it really fast. You're better off getting a 12v pond pump.

Does the existing female plug into the "out" or "in", or both?

Or are you trying to charge it.

Female only plugs into out. Hopefully i can figure it out. Worst case i either spend the coins and get a box like above or leave a small generator on site and fill rezs once a month. Thanks for your help.

Ive got it thanks for YouTube. Just direct wire the 12v pump to the male adapter and plug and go. Wondering hiw long would it last going to pick up a pump in the next few days ill report back with results of experiment.

I was going to suggest Craigslist or Kijiji. That's where I scoop most of my stuff. Let someone else absorb the whole cost.

Glad you figured it out.

Going for as many seeds as possible lol middle of corn field
One good plant can give you 20-30,000 seeds, so there's no need to waste a whole crop.

Don't do it like this

or this

You'll lose it.

But you can plant in corn fields. For example, many corn fields tend to have missed spots close to the edges and corners.
Plant in the errors.

or here

A cheap drone works wonders. But I suggest you do it in several fields because you don't know if it's a cash crop or silage crop. If it's silage, the farmer will cut it down just before it's ready to be harvested.

Thanks because the plan was square right in the middle with 10 plants. Saw someone say wait till the corn is about 4ft before planting clones.

What are you 12? Square and right in the middle is like walking around a prison yard with "FuckMe" written on your back.

I suggest ONE plant, *maybe two, planted far apart, on the edge somewhere. And for chirst sake, make sure it's planted with a tree or bush backdrop that gets sun, not shade.

Don't wait for the corn to be 4 feet tall. One foot is good enough, but not shorter (for other reasons). And put a small chicken wire cage around it or someone will eat it.

You should read this whole thread from page 1. If you don't, you'll fail. I can see it now. Consider it research.

Some of those 'missed spots' were too wet during planting. I see lot's of fields with ponds (standing water). They dry up before ganja season.

I never grew in corn myself. Not my style and harvest for corn can be before ganja harvest. By by grow!

Not sure what state you are in buddy but I sure would hate to see a sting drop on ya man or less worse, get your entire crop of work eradicated right off the bat. If you have flyovers this is not going to work at all. If you don't have them, it is still a very high chance it's still not going to work even if you don't because any pilot would notice that and a good possibility they would report it.

Do you need assistance in how to grow in corn fields correctly? If so let me know. Justblooking out for ya brother hate to see anyone get caught or lose a hard worked crop.

:tiphat:

Edit: Sorry, Tyco posted some very good info for you and I didn't read that far before posting this. Can't give ya no more rep Tyco or I would brother... lol.

If you need more assurance though marmarb please let me know. What state are you in?
