I personally don't like containers as it does contain the plant growth. I don't go out to water lol but I am working with quality gentics and most are probably as tall as me. :)

I never used to myself either.

I grow both in the ground and in containers. Both styles are handy in a guerilla grow.

Plants in ground can grow huge and hardly need any watering throughout the year. You can reuse the same holes again the next year as well and over time it keeps breaking down into a rich organic matter that plants just go crazy in.

On the other hand containers are very handy as well. You can choose the size of your container to restrict root growth or keep the plant about the idea size you would need it for any given location. They are also mobile and great for thorn and vine thickets as all you have to do is open up a hole within the brush line and sit the plant down inside and it keeps the plant blended right in without having to disturb the ground and also can train the vines and briars around the plant. Anytime you need to move it, wait till time for a watering when she dries out and move that sucker wherever you want.

Me and a buddy had to move 7 trees last year in 30 gallon containers down the road in a 12 mile trip. Believe me, it sounds impossible and risky as hell and as it was risky it was possible as well. A story for another time lol.

I'm on page 142 of the massive outdoor.. man so far it's been pine of the best reads I've done. My favorites are julian and silverback two really smart people that shared everything a person could need getting into this, whether your growing 1 or 10,000 the lessons they shared can and will help you if you utilize them the right way. So glad I found them and had the patience to read through them all. I actually found out about julian from reading a silverback post, i forget which place it was but if he had good things to say I knew it would be worth my time.

Up until 12 days ago, it had not been above 90 degrees this year.
Most days were about 84 degrees and the humidity was about 48%. I thought I was in heaven!

The last 12 days, every day has been 95 to 98 and the humidity is around 85% all day long.... I go out to water about 8 am and am sweating my buns off long before I'm finished...
I'm lucky.. I dug this secret garden 5 years ago...It's unfindable.

I found a trickle of water coming out of the ground and build the garden less than 100 feet away, slightly downhill..
The water trickles out from under a big rock at about 1 quart per minute and evaporates or soaks back into the ground before it goes 150 feet...
I dug out below it and built a small dam.. It holds about 120 gallons and I roll out my 100 foot hose when I go to water the girls...
Once I prime my hose in mid-May, I cap both ends of it after I water and before I roll it back up, to keep the hose primed...

The girls are looking pretty good so far.. Here's two of them.
The girl in the second pic is 8 ft. tall and about 7 ft. wide...

Thanks for the reference Southern!

I have actually read most of his threads over the last couple years and they really have helped me push my limits and motivated me more so than any other threads on IC. I am actually about to start my last round this year of around 1,500 or more seedlings. Mini patch time my friend.

Another guy I have learned a lot from and would give anything to know his whereabouts (if he is okay and still around but maybe under a different user name) is D.S. Toker MD. He was also a fellow Kentuckian and had tons of knowledge and info to share about guerilla gardening. Hope he is doing well and safe at that.

Shout out to silver back as well!

I have 3 golden tigers, 3 zamaldelicas, and 3 Ace fem mixed girls that are two foot tall vegged under 20/4 that need to go in there permanent containers soon. Wish I knew how to upload pics from my phone without compromising (and knowing for a fact) that it won't compromise my security.

I take pictures on my phone and then I screen shot them in a different location and delete the original pictures and upload the screen shots. Last time I screen shot my plants while walking in different woods where I fish. I have done this on the forums for years.

Wow nice plants Bud Green Sr., Should be an amazing fall.

I have always wanted to bury a 55 gallon drum by my spot and fill it with water in winter/spring and save it for my worst months for water late July/August. Looks like I might get lucky with rain this year but I still need to try that.

I've just about forgot about SilverBack. He's another one of many too..

Lots of good resources around here. Remember though, LEO references this stuff as well as our fellow Guerrillas.

Doing this style of growing is like the Iron Man of Cannabis Cultivation.
Shit ain't easy.

I agree. I am almost 100% certain that LEO visits this forum as well to learn about the way we as guerillas cultivate and probably have accounts as well on here.

Definitely not easy Southern!

Howdy folks!

I have decided to do a little experiment this year.

As soon as I get the (3,000 cell total) seed trays I ordered I am going to germinate many many plants. About two weeks from now I will be emptying my veg room to place the 60 girls I currently have vegging in 3 gallon pots to their final 10 and 20 gallon containers to flower for the year.

My plan is to fill all the seed trays with pollinated crop seed from 2015 by the end of this coming week. Place them all in the veg room when the last wave of plants are set out to flower in a couple of weeks and I will veg them in seed trays for about a week, then transplant into half gallon grow bags or quart sized grow bags, 3 seedlings in each bag. They will then be vegged until about September 1st and then will all be transplanted into 5 gallon grow bags outdoors to flower. Should finish around mid October to November 1st.

If this give me even 2 to 3 ounces per grow bag I will be flattered! I can run my girls safely into the middle of November and possibly into first couple weeks of December.

Reason for doing this is mainly because LEO does not fly during those months and of the weather permits, then hey, the plan shall work out fine! This will increase my chances of harvest by at least 80%. Hoping I will get at least 1 to 2 females out of the 3 plants per bag.

I took one ole boy's advice, turned location services off and took screen shots and uploaded them. Hopefully I have no location tags or coordinates on me now. Shit makes a fellar nervous, but those are just a handful of photos I have. I feel good about it, finally crossing the line and having a toe to toe with paranoia. I can only post so much and a lot of my photos also have deleted sadly... :(

Hope you guys enjoy.

I do get tired of seeing on the forums where people bash people and say "pics or it didn't happen!". That is not always the case. I never pressure someone to show me proof and step out of their comfort zone. Not sayin' yall askin for pics are doing it to me, at all. I am more than happy to post these and hope you guys enjoy looking at them. But what I am saying is for future reference, their are good honest folk out there that may just wanna keep in their comfort zone. Look at how long it has taken me to put a few pics up haha... Happy growing ya'll!
