I can't believe there won't be an airport or planes

it's too bad.. would be awesome if they put neat planes in the game that behaved realistically..

I wouldn't like a GTA where one end of the game isn't miles and miles away from the other, with all sorts of neat things in between... not just one big ass city

Yeah, I do not really know NYC that well. In tv shows, Seinfeld for one, that reference NYC in things like "Man, I got from Queens to Manhatten in 25 minutes!" or something like that. Anyone that is not familiar with NYC is left there going wtf?? I guess this will help me out better, in case I need to get around in NYC. Not all GTA had airports, not the first 2 at least. You started being able to really fly in Vice City (with Ray Liotta as the voice of Tommy Vercetti ) but the Dodo was in number 3. The most time I got on that was 7 seconds in the air, something around there. I just love flying around though, trying to short stop on top of high buildings.

Oh, how come gangmembers will only get in the Cessna type planes?? And the helis, but not the jets....weird.

I am real interested in seeing the aiming/targeting choices they made. I love being able to switch between targets real fast. When you are close enough, gang wars only last about 4-5 seconds and less than a full clip is used. Have to get right on top of em though!

Can you drive boats still??You can do a super jump from a fast moving boat if you time your departure correctly (press triangle at the right time, and he shoots forward and up). Hard to do accurately though.

Think about the city they are recreating. Planes might get the game banned if players can fly them into landmarks especially in a city recreated off NY so that could have something to do with it.

Yeah, I really love San Andreas, it is my favorite. I like how open the map is, and how much there is to do. I think the new one will be bad ass, but it kinda seems like they took a step back in my opinion. I believe they should have made it as big as possible, how cool would it be if you could hijack a Carnival cruise boat and go all the way to the UK, with Interpol chasing you down like a dog. That would be sweet.
But I will still get 4, I can not wait to see NY.

yeah they could have made a huge game without doing such a major cs/physics/whateverelse improvements.. just polished it up a little and made a huge experience.

i'm always expecting way to much from video games.. and its more and more rare that i'm actually impressed by games the way i used to be. i guess i'm just growing out of it faster than they can improve this shit in ways that make me want to finish a whole game. hype and shit always sounds good but when it finally releases i'm usually already expecting more because of the brand new game announcments.

but yeah even with all the detail they put into the city and shit.. saying no land area is wasted on nothingness.. seems like they could have just added a bunch of nothingness to it fairly easily.. since it is nothingness..

dont feel so bad ,,
a friend of mine got a ps3 after waiting 4 hours in a que of pre-pays at the local gameshop ,

,a party was all arranged at his house to give the ps3 a good running in ,,

sadly the 3 games which he got when purchased were totally pants and guests started moaning for him to put his xbox on instead .

my friend is now waiting for the ps3 to break down (as all new playstations do lol) so he can take it back for a refund ,he said the only good thing out the box was the free blu ray demo ,but thats unwatchable unless u purchase the hdmi cable which obviously sony charge for

your better of with a pc or xbox version
