What do you guys clean and sanitize your tents with? I have not had any bug/mold or other similar problems, so milder / organic solutions are welcome.

that's a great question. i'm kinda wondering about it, too. i'm in between tent grows since it's been so darn hot, but i had some bug issues at the very end (i think it's from going from outdoors to indoors without changing clothes) so i definitely want to clean her out before using again. i was thinking a mild solution of something should be sufficient - maybe some diluted simple green or even a severely diluted bleach or alcohol solution would kill any remaining traces of those bastards.

maybe someone else has some suggestions?

I'm guessing a 5% bleach/water solution will be the ticket. Just would like confirmation that it won't hurt the jardin interior.

I have been very pleased with my recent purchase of a DR80.

much more robust than I expected, and I have not noticed any pinholes. In fact the tent material is much thicker than I expected also.

All in all, it rocks! no regrets.

What are your temps? do you exhaust outside?

i was thinking of the same setup with a 400w HPS and vented to the outside. Pull through the filter then through the hood and outside.

it seems to run about 4 degrees above ambient with the tent zipped up at lights on.
The tent is new to me, and I have been keeping the flap open at night when the lights are on due to the heatwave. So I don't have good solid temp info to give yet. The plants have been in there for less than two weeks. And it has been hot here recently.

In my DR60 w/ 250HPS in a batwing reflector, I have a 400+cfm Ecoline 6in pulling through a 16x24" 6" Phat Filter. Temps are 4-5 over ambient.

Can't wait for late fall/winter.

Wow, I must say, I have stayed away from grow tents mainly sue to the price, but some of these I'm seeing are VERY affordable for those of us that don't have tons of room and/or DIY know how. I'm seriously looking into something like this.

You need to make mega-double-super-sure that your reflector is air-tight, and that all the seals for the air entry/exit are air tight, otherwise you're going to get some stinkies that escape through there, bypassing your filter.

I got some extra weatherstripping to help seal up it, but it is a rather cheap hood and no doubt is not 100% airtight. Luckily smell is not a major issue. In fact this is my first run in my 3 year growing history to have any kind of odor control at all. I would like to control it as much as possible though, so I have a elf filter on top of the tent that the exhausted air passes through before re-entering the room.

That is a very nice looking DR80 you've got there NaturalKaliMeds. I've got one as well and use a Can 2600 filter, Supersun 1, 4" Vortex, 400w HPS/MH. It sure kicks out some brain smashing reefer too

i think im needing another 600 watt in here.
i have 6 plants in there .3 master kush,1 perma frost,1 kali/wonder 1 nebula.
2 weeks into flower and im happy with my first grow but i think im gonna do 4-5 next round because of space.they got vegged too long and were thinkin there gona outgrow the tent.does anyone know where to get some more roof poles with or what has anybody used instead of the poles that came with ?

would 2 600's in a sun hut xl be overkill
