http://www.example.comOk. Here is the set up. First things first. The gear.
Secret Jardin DarkRoom 120.
Can 66 Charcoal Filter
6" S&P PowerVent Pro; Silent Line
1000watt Lumatek Electronic Ballast
Cool Tube Reflector with 1000 watt Hortilux Super HPS bulb
So I set the Reflector and filter up in the tent.
After that, I set up the fan and used the Tuck Tape to tape the filter, fan and tube together.

After that I hooked up the other side of the tube and ran it to the window. The window has an A/C. I rigged up a vent so both the A/C and Filter/Cool tube exhaust could vent out one window outlet. From outside my condo it looks like just an A/C vent.

SO the idea is this. On hot days I will tape ducting from the A/C and run it in to the tent to cool it down. I can control the temp of the tent via the A/C.
The only problem right now is all this negative pressure pulling the tent inwards.
Hey Bandon Looper!
Thanks dude. Im only going to grow 9 plants so the airfiulter is no problem. I dont really need all the space.
Im gonna check out your grow right NOW!

VagPuncher: that is a nice setup you have there. I have a few questions..
That one ducting you have coming out the tent. Is this how you have it setup.. carbon filter > inline fan > cooltube > then dumps the air outside through the Y splitter? Is it just one inline fan you have setup thats pulling through the filter and pushing through the cooltube? do you have the inline fan on always or just when the lights is on? The other two ducts that is coming from the ac is cooling the tent.. how is that setup? is it on timer or does it turn on when the tent gets at a certain temp?
Looking great vagpuncher! you should start a diary in the grow section.
I agree. i'd check your grow diary. love the simple (minus the octopus, WTF? ha) set up. one question... does that feel comfortable holding the weight of the filter? I wouldnt trust my homebox with the much weight.. plus the reflector. maybe i need a Jardin.
I zip tied my poles together tooHi. The Filter it 31 pounds. The SJ says it can hold 70.
If you look closely you can see that I used twist ties to attach all 4 poles together. I figured that would relieve some of the stress from the 1 pole the filter hangs from.
